Don't believe Star magazine!
The trashy tabloid ran a cover story this week that Ellen DeGeneres and her long-time love, Portia de Rossi, had split up.
Thankfully, it's not true, the talk show host's rep says.
“The Star article is fabricated and false," DeGeneres' publicist said on Friday. "If you believe Star and other tabloids are reliable sources, then they [DeGeneres and De Rossi] have had multiple children and marriages, as well.”

I am a lesbian but,Portia is too beautiful for Ellen. I initially assumed the story to be false when it was printed in the Star Magazine, but I came across an article written by a legitmate newspaper on this subject. The reporters source for his article is a neighbor of Ellen and Portia's who is one of his friends and one of Ellen's staffers on her "The Ellen Show". To me since you have a neighbor and one of Ellen's staffers making the assertion also, it makes me wonder if there is not some truth to this? Because Ellen's publicist makes denials does not neccessarily mean much. We the public have seen celebrity publicists make denials and then only later to find out that the story was indeed correct.

By the way not all lesbians like "manly" looking women. Some do and some don't. I for one am not attracted to "manly" looking women and never have been. If I wanted a man, I'd go out an get one. Portia should find another beautiful lesbian to have a relationship with. Ellen Degeneres reminds me of the older successful male CEO who flaunts his pretty young girlfriend as a trophy. An example, in an article that came out recently, Ellen reveals that Portia likes to wear thongs. Why would Ellen or any other celebrity have to reveal in an interview that their significant other wears thongs? Uneccessary informaton. Portia on the other hand seems to be a private type of person. Degeneres appears to be the insecure type to me. On the red carpet, Portia is flawless looking and then there is Ellen all dressed in her unnattractive suit and then Ellen has stated in interviews that "gee at the red carpet events no one ever asks me what designer I am wearing, but only asks Portia." Well if you have a breathtakingly beautiful women dressed in a beautiful gown coming down the red carpet versus a relatively unnattractive women coming down the red carpet in an unnattractive suit, who would care what designer the suit wearer was wearing? I know I wouldn't.

For me I like feminine looking women as a lesbian. Eventhough I have not seen them in person, I have seen many pictures of them both with no make up and to me Portia is still extremely beautiful and stunning looking like in the picture attached to this story. There are both femme and butch women in our community. I had alot of respect for Ellen and loved her TV sitcom. However, to me since she has been in this relationship, she seems to flaunt Portia like a trophy and she seems insecure to me. I do not enjoy watching them on the red carpet anymore.
