Lance Bass is acting cunty towards his fans again.
One frustrated Perezcious reader, Cathi, wrote in to share her less than stellar encounter with the former Nsync-er.
"The Miami New Times reported that Lance Bass would be signing his new book at Books and Books on Lincoln Rd at 6 PM Friday night. My friend and i went there around 6 to find neither Lance nor one single fan waiting for him. The employees said the signing would actually be at 8 and joked that no one had come for the alleged 6 pm signing anyway.
So… we went to Doraku for drinks for 2 hours, returned at 8:10 PM with 2 more friends to find Lance taking a photo with a fan. As we paused to chat with an employee, Lance and his handlerwoman escaped out the front door! He split after an exhausting 10 minute signing!!! I didnt get to meet him or get an autograph or anything!
I yelled down the street and he turned around and waved then just took off for the night! 10 minutes!!??? whaaaaa???? I got jipped! Was he offended that there weren't tons of fans? What about the 4 of us who waited all day??!! WTF? RUDE!"

Could not wait to read this book. It was absolutely boring. Told us NOTHING we already knew. Was not looking for a tell all book, was curious to see what the day in the life of NSYNC was. It was all about him being gay. So now he is famous cause he is an old boyband gay member, and is jealous of justin. I am sorry, but I was hoping just for alittle more to grab on to for a $24.00 book.

yeah. I live in NYC and was working the heatherette afterparty as a host for the Factory (a tuesday night party in NYC done by Richie Rich, Formika and Micheal T) and they made him wait about a good hour befor he could get in. Everyone knew who he was but no one gave a fuck. Poor Lance, he's done.

I was at the taping of "The View" he appeared on to promote the book and everyone cheered politely when we were told we were getting a free copy. But judging from the stack of books left on the table as we were leaving (and no one picking any up), not many people were interested.

Funny it is true. nobody even showed up, i was there looking to buy books for my middle school daughters book report/class presentation on the Civil War in her American History class. I was there right in what should have been the thick of it time wise, saw Lance across the store sitting there, but NOBODY else. (it took me a second to figure out who he was, because i couldn't remember his name, i had to ask an employee) but literally nobody was there except for the people like me and my daughter going about their daily business. I think he was embarrassed and left, he probably thought it would be a "mob scene" and when it wasn't, his ego was badly bruised. Doesn't Lance bass realize, he is not Justin Timberlake. Before hating on Lance maybe you should have gotten your information straight before wasting your day like an UNPREPARED idiot. The papers clearly stated that the book signing would begin at 8 PM, not 6. So did every single other article that was posted online. Plus, if you would have actually called the bookstore, they would have told you the same exact thing. I know, because unlike you, I actually took the time to verify the information. SO, if you wouldn't of been so dumb as to show up 2 hours early, and so RUDE as to show up 10 minutes late, you would have been able to meet him. I showed up to the book signing about 30 minutes early to find a large group of really nice and excited Lance fans. Not only did he walk in looking like such a down to earth and nice guy, but he wasn't LATE which shows consideration and is anything but douche like. He was humble, down to earth, and amazingly sweet. He signed books, was nice enough to personalize them, and even gave hugs to fans who had been so excited to see him. My experience meeting Lance was a great one….heck, I've been waiting for this moment since I was in the 7th grade! So the next time you start hatin' get to steppin'…..its your own damn fault you didn't get a book signed……and to all those who claim, "Lance, you ain't no Justin" well, you are 100% right….Lance is anything but a cunt face.
