i just saw these guys in nyc for the first time. their live show is incredible. the energy coming off of the stage couldn't be bigger. also, they are all extremely talented and very friendly. they are giving away their cd for free at their shows and on their website.

The reason why that last album didn't "take off" here in the US is because it was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. The only good song was "I Don't Feel LIke Dancing", which was superior in all aspects. but the rest of the album? CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend had them at her Bat Mitvah in NYC a while back, they were out there and awesome, and they gave out their CD to everyone. It was really quite good. Also, the lead singer wire 5 inch stiletto boots while performing and at the end of his set did a split. It was awesome.
The song is good. The video is bad. Really bad.

Saw these guys in Columbus, OH this past weekend and even though they were an opening band they put the headliner to shame. The album may sound a little raw but they kick ass live. Looking forward to hearing more from them and if you get a chance to see them DO IT!

I saw these guys last week and they were a ton of fun! I used to listen to glam back in the day, and these guys just have it nailed. Great stage presence, fun songs and great audience interaction. Grab their CD, put on your 10-inch stilettos (even and perhaps especially if you're a dude) and enjoy.

Semi Precious Weapons (The other Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience): A pinch of Warhol, a dash of Bowie, and a splash of Blondie and you have created a music monster on a rampage to make it big. The monster? Justin of Semi Precious Weapons. I'm privleged to say that after an incredible performance, a sadly her very las in the states (possibly), by Sinead O'Connor last week, bumped into this 6'2" collosal of a riff raff along with his manager (BP Fallon) and WOW, I was hooked. Erotic music leads to up close, in your face, and seductive concert experiences for fans making SPW a must see this haunting holiday season.
I hate you homophobic fuckers. This is why SPW got big in NYC. NYC doesn't have the harsh judgement the rest of this shithole country does. I'd like to know the music you listen to. I bet it's complete crap. Some "gangster" talking about "slappin' hos" or some stupid bullshit like that.

Semi Precious Weapons are the best band in new york city, hands down. They're the best modern rock band I know of. Their shows are fucking incredible, there is no way you can get the full experience from a recorded song or a video. They are an incredibly talented band, and they deserve a lot of attention. They one "best local band" in the village voice readers poll, justin was on the cover of korean vogue, their jewelery sells in urban outfitters and hot topic around the country, and they're just fucking amazing. Seriously, if you get a chance, you have to see them live.

I just recorded a live performance of these guys in Columbus, OH and they are definitely about to blow up. There is no weak link in this band and the frontman is one of the truest rock stars to come around in a long time; some shades of bowie without being a copycat (the ass shaking at the show kinda reminded me of Prince at the end of Purple Rain)… The album sounds amazing and their live show is not to be missed……I found it impossible to stay for the headliners becuase there is no following their performance, too damn hot
