I smoked my entire pregnancy. So did my mother with me. And my grandmother with my mother. My cousin, and two aunts, and one of my best friends… all have smoked during pregnancy. it does not cause birth defects. and if you ask a doctor, they too will tell you that stopping all together during your pregancy is more stressful then smoking a cig or two a day. And, all of our babys have been nice fat, healthy babies with no medical problems. NOW…smoking a pack a day, can cause problems. And definitely smoking MORE then a pack a day is definitely not a good idea. As all of our doctors told us, "Cut back. Cut back as much as you can. And all will be fine."

OK - first, there are no pictures of her doing it. Second, while it is horrible to smoke while pregnant it can be physically bad/stressful for a pregnant mom to quit cold turkey - My doc told me to just cut way down when I was pregnant…..I quit, but if she's a heavy smoker normally (and seems to be), then maybe she got the green light from her doc. In which case, it really is none of your business….fascinating as it may be.

(A little small, but you couldnt tell now that hes 6 mos old) Her Doc told her the stress of stopping smoking was worse than the actual smoking, and to just lessen the amount of cigs per day. Weird I know…but I just was playing devils advocate to N. Richie.
