The pregnant celebuspawn's rep is denying a report from the New York Post that Nicole has been seen smoking in public on more than one occasion.

Richie's publicist labels the report "irresponsible and untrue."

Uh huh.

Somehow we're inclined to believe the Post over Nicole's rep.

Big deal. With zillions of women drinking and doing drugs while preg, smoking cigs is nothing. My mother smoked while preg with me and my bro, and we're tall strong and intelligent. I know SO many friends who smoked during preg, and their kids are JUST FINE. Let's talk about people who have FAS and FAE. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/Effects. Re: umm – Wanna know the best part of your nonsensical tirade? I don't even smoke! And I never have. If I did, however, I would certainly quit when pregnant. But that's not what this is about. This is about a woman who has *supposedly* smoked a FEW cigarettes during her pregnancy. All these people saying that she should have her baby taken away because of that are insane. I definatly agree that women should do all they can to make sure their babies are born healthy. But the point it that smoking a cigarette once or twice is not going to harm a baby. Also, I don't have to refer to calling women the "c word" to get my view across. But, you have the right to use that language… Just like I have the right to voice my opinion. And I'm going to be a great mother one day.
