The boys teamed up with Toms Shoes for a one mile walk to help end poverty and AIDS in Africa.

I did not even look at the other comments in fear of having to explain why Hanson is amazing yet again, but I just wanted to say that I absolutely love this band for so many reasons! I went on the walk with them in September in Chicago. I'm glad you are showing them love instead of dissing them leaving me and many others to defend them once again against the ignorance.

Perez, I think it is very commendable that you are bringing light to something relevant in the celebrity world that we can all be a part of. I read all about what Hanson is doing before each of their shows, and it's really fantastic. While I love all the "dirt" you give us, you need more of this … celebrities doing GOOD just doesn't get publicized enough…because believe it or not, there are a few of them trying. Rock on Hanson!

I took the walk in orlando. Bare feet, and an 11 month old in my armas. Loved every minute of it! These guys are great! And the cause is worth it!

i walked with them in Poughkeepsie and they are doing an amazing thing!! there song The Great Divide has the african choir they worked with in it!!! Hanson does allot of amazing things, your right… to bad people cant get passed MMMBop…

All proceeds on iTunes from The Great Divide went to help out in Africa!!!

BTW - Tay is married with 3 kids, Ike is married with on and little Zac is also married!! Get it straight!!

I'm all for celebs getting involved for charity, but good Lord. Walking around any street barefoot is going to let him know exactly what it's like to have AIDS…and hepatitis and hookworm and tetanus. I think it is brilliant what they are doing, who else would do something like this?!
all other superstars just throw some of their money at a charity then mention it in an interview but Hanson do it properly, they get 100% involved, do the walks and everything they can get to the publicity needed for such a worth while cause.
