Britney may not be interested in helping promote her album, and it seems like she really doesn't need to!
Based on first day sales, Spears' latest album, Blackout, is expected to debut at #1 on the U.S. album charts, industry experts tell PerezHilton.com.
Right now she is projected to sell about 350,000 copies - nowhere near what Carrie Underwood just did in her first week (527,000). But respectable none the less.

I can't listen to her music anymore without thinking about all the nasty things she's done and how ugly she's become. It never ends and there's no point anymore. I used to be a big fan–but I'm done with her. She has no respect for herself, her kids, or her fans. So do your thing, Britney. I've wasted enough time thinking about you and your crappy life.

I wound up skipping over most of the songs–it's all the same, and when I hear her voice I picture a bunch of producers and backup singers making a hot mess sound bearable. I wouldn't know but Blackout must be like a hit of crack–gets you going for a little then leaves you unsatisfied. There's better stuff out there, and she's not worth my support.

first off, i bought the new bsb cd cause they can actually sing unlike her. second, WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!would you people do this to yourselves. nevertheless, the same way ive loved bsb for the past 10 years ever since their get down days, i guess its the same way you people love britney. third, i think some people are just buying the cd because a) the pictures inside are somewhat of a controversy [priest pic], everyone is curious as to what the songs sound like or what they're about. oh well i listened to the bsb cd 3 times last night in a row every song and today i listened to it more than that. lol, they're great and if they dont become number one i atleast hope they're in the top 5 or 10.

Actually, Britney's first album sold 14 million and Carrie's sold 6 million. Britney's second album sold 10 million and Carrie's remains to be seen but she is the one who needs to catch up. And I like Underwood alot but she can't turn a party on.

I bought her greatest hits album years ago but I've never bought another one, I'm so curious about this cd though so maybe I will but it I'm not sure yet i mean I did like that gimme more song except for the "it's britney bitch" part, whoever ok'd that cover should be fired though.

I bought the CD, not bad. I had to hear it, with all the hype going around about Britney. I was really surprised how good it was.
but keep in mind a sophomore album usually does good because of the traction from the first. Britney sold over a million in her first week for her second album, this is her fifth studio album!
