i think her music is not exactly prolific, by any means. but i will always have a soft spot for celine dion because of how nice she was to elliott smith at the 1998 oscars the year titanic won. it was the sweetest thing, because to most rock n roll people celine dion is a joke and after he met her at the oscars and she was so sweet to him, he went around defending her as "a genuinely nice person" any time someone would talk crap about her. i always think of her as the person who was really sweet to elliott smith now instead of judging her for her music. (which is still fun to dance to by the way)
