Re: MIMI – "Mimi" by stressing how rich she is and how many albums she has sold says nothing for Celine's talent. It merely emphasizes how our world is being "dumbed-down". There are too many idiots buying this crap. This is a huge issue in the radio business these days. Lobby firms and associations are going nuts because corporate-generated junk is being promoted on-air and in the markets. The real, true, good music is being ignored for a quick buck and a good laugh at what people will settle for. If you choose to settle for this type of junk, then so be it. But, also realize you are contributing to the loss of culture in our country. One day your (and my) kids will hate YOU for this.
