You know, after seeing this video, I totally respect her! Why? Because she's not a Diva after all these years, all her songs, all her concerts, all her fame…she STILL knows how to have fun. That was pretty funny! I like some of her songs, but for some reason the girl just rubs me the wrong way. From interviews i've seen of her she seems so overbearing, persistent and annoying! I always thought that her husband was probably the domineering type, but watching her on Larry King Live..I could see where she was more dominant and he submissive.

I was not really a Celine fan until I met her in person several years ago, just before she moved to Vegas…. and she's very silly and completely makes fun of herself all the time. The very mannerisms that I used to think were insanely annoying were the EXACT things she was mocking about herself. I grew a new level of respect for her then. She's very humble. She was hanging out in a dump sports bar near her house in Florida when I met her….. playing pool.

she just did a round of promo here in the UK for the new album and won herself and whole heap of new fans in the media. She had time for everyone, knew everyone's name where she went (she clearly pre-asked her team), did X factor and remembered every single contestants name. She impressed a lot of people by being so charming and warm with everyone she met on the way. No complaining, no demands! Mariah, Jennifer, Whitney, Barbra and all the other diva's - learn from her! It isnt necessary to be 'high and mighty'. It doesnt make you more respected or sell more records clearly. Celine sold more than that lot of you and is still humble and no diva behaviour! She just won herself a lot of fans in the media on her promo trip for her new album here in the UK. She knew everyone's name (clearly pre asked her team), did X factor and knew all the contestants and everything about them (again, clearly she pre-asked about this), and asked for nothing and demanded nothing! DJ's like Chris Moyles (radio 1) who has never liked her much now only has good things to say about her as she was so charming and easy to deal with to his girlfriend who produced on of the TV shows she performed on.
She's no diva, totally down to earth and has time for everyone she meets. So unusual - born to be a star! Finally someone who doesnt complain about fame and doesnt use it to make themselves above everyone else!

Actually Celine makes a point of offering all her family members work and pays them VERY WELL! She gives them opportunities to better their lives, not just givng them handouts.
This is a very accurate picture of Celine, this is her true personality, she's goofy and down to earth and gives respect to all that work with her. I met her in '99 at the height of her popularity and she behaved like just a regular gal, we shot the shit and joked around. Yeah she may be a bit wacko and defintely has led a "sheltered" life of stardom, she only has a grade 8 education and she may not be very intellectual, but she has an open mnd and spirit and accepts everyone. Yay Celine!

Celine is actually really really nice and generous with her time and money. I met her on a catering job and she offered me her book and signed it and went to see the chef and thank him for the food because she thought it was so good. She eats and is not anorexic, she just performs and dance all the time. She is not the brightest but she is a hard worker with one of the most amazing voice. Like her or not, she is genuinely a nice person.

I've met a couple of her dancers in Vegas and they tell me she is a nut case, she is funny and she treats everyone very nicely, she knows everyones names and she is very given , on one ocassion, the husband of one of her show ushers died and Celine found out she was a widow with kids , then paid for the funeral and gave the girl $50k to help herself with the situation. She goes and watches TV on the lunch room with her staff and acts like a complete normal human being , unlike many other stars she stays out of the showbiz life, when did u hear any drama about her? never, she is a clean and true good person. A friend of mine used to a work in a Paris palace, and she had to deal with allkinds of stars, millioniares, or semi-stars and has-beens, and she told me that Celine Dion and her husband were just the nicest people she ever had as customers…. she could have acted like a mariah carey-like diva but instead she was super humble, apologizing for using the room service (which is like, their job!), while much less famous people were constantly full of crap, complaining about everything, etc.

We have truly lost one of the greats today.

Whitney Houston has passed away at the age of 48, and although the cause of her death is currently unknown, she made an appearance last night at the Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love of R&B Grammy Party at True Hollywood, and even took the stage to sing what sadly, ended up being her last public performance.
