Nick Was Speeding AND Drinking!!!!

mx0063730__opt.jpg

We hope they have a whole team of expensive lawyers, the Hogans are gonna need it to get son Nick out of this shit pit!

Even though he's only 17 years old, Nick was arrested Wednesday morning in Tampa and will face FELONY charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury.

Hogan was involved in a car crash in August that left his passenger and friend, who was not wearing a seatbelt, with permanent brain damage.

Though the Hogans keep trying to paint the crash as an "accident", police are telling a much different story.

This morning's arrest report included new details about the crash.

Detectives report that Nick was racing a second car, before the crash, at speeds of over 60 mph through the 40-mph zone, which was wet from recent rains.

While investigators concluded that the actions of the other car's driver were not a contributing factor in the crash, that driver, Daniel Jacobs, is being issued a summons to appear in court for reckless driving charges.

Additionally, and more damaging, police also cited Nick for having a blood alcohol level of .02 or higher. Any BAC above 0.00 would be illegal for the 17-year-old.

That poor kid. And, no, not Hogan! That poor kid that's still in the hospital and brain dead.

Hopefully, justice will be served!

I can understand parents wanting to protect their children, BUT, part of protecting your children is teaching them that there are censequences for their actions. I don't think the family gets it… why the hell is this 17n year old snot nose driving a Ferrari or whatever it was? It was only a matter of time before he crashed. Unfortunately he hurt somebody so badly, that when he dies, the charges will be upgraded to vehicular manslaughter. Oh what a tangled web we weave when we aim to deceive…… let him own up to his crime!!!!!

what a selfish piece of trash. He;s walking around carrying a freakin teletubby doll, while his victim is laying brain dead in the hospital. This idiot is the one who is brain dead and obviously doesn't care about the life he destroyed. I hope he gets gangraped in prison the nasty cunt!

what a little douge bag…whenever i drive with my seatbelt on..i, as a responsible driver, ask my passengers to wear their seatbelt. Ultimately it is his responsibilty to make sure his passengers are safe. AND, its unforgivable that he seems to think he is guiltless. Another case of fame and money causing someone to think that the law doesn't apply to them. Shame on Nick Hogan. He is a loser.

  17. That's right. says – reply to this
    17

"Everyone knows it was an accident; it certainly was not intentional — and John Graziano really should have been wearing a seatbelt, after all it is the law. So now, why are charges being filed? Let me guess: They want MONEY because their son chose to NOT wear a seatbelt, and was involved in an ACCIDENT? I am sorry for what happened to John Graziano, but he is the one who chose to not wear a seatbelt — Nick didn’t make him not wear it. And John Graziano was not brain damaged when he made the decision to NOT wear a seatbelt. Accidents are not anyone’s fault… Again, it was not INTENTIONAL. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT."

It is the drivers responsibility to make the passengers wear their seat belt, and for 17 year olds they should not be drinking in the first place…let alone driving while aclcahol was still left in his system. That poor kid is practically dead and the Hogan family is saying it is his fault. Sure he didn't want to wear his seat belt, but I am sure he did not want to be brain dead either. Nick hogan has has run ins with the law for speeding and with that repeat offenders must be given some punishment.

Nick, be responsible and own up to your crime.

Oh Perez, come on. You don't actually care about Nick's friend. You get on your blog and act like you're all outraged, using the right language to provoke people's emotions, but you don't actually *care.* And admittedly, neither do I. Who actually cares about rich spoiled teens racing cars around and smashing them up and injuring themselves? Rich spoiled Hollywood teen spawns of celebs contribute nothing to this society, and live off of the benefits of their parents' famous names, drinking, drugging, f*ucking, drugging, partying, drugging, shopping, drugging, clubbing, racing around like idiots, drugging, never having to work real jobs, completely removed from the rest of the real world society. Drugging. So stop acting like you really care, cuz you know you don't.

When are those idiot police officers going to take that douche-bag's license away? They're just asking for that tool to kill someone.

An accident? Yes, that kid should have been wearing a seatbelt but the jack ass driving the car should have been more careful with his driving. Plain and simple, Nick Hogan's license SHOULD have been revoked a while ago with the numerous speeding tickets he SHOULD have been cited. Regardless of whether or not it was an "accident", Hogan needs to be held accountable for his actions. Even though it seems to appear otherwise, he's NOT above the law just because he's a celebrity's kid.

I just can't believe they are so surprised…. that's what happens when you give a 17-year old kid, WHO DID NOTHING TO EARN IT, a fucking ferrari

And the dig they threw in their statement about the victim not wearing his seatbelt.. sorry Hogans. How tactless. This is really not the time to start blaming the kid your son practically killed.

I work for a City Prosecutor in another state, and I cannot believe how things seem to be done in California. In my state, drivers (especially those involved in accidents) are immediately given breathalyzer tests ON THE SCENE, and are IMMEDIATELY arrested. If the suspect refuses to give the test, they STILL IMMEDIATELY GO TO JAIL FOR REFUSAL. I cannot understand why this "investigation" took so long.

Nick Hogan should have been arrested ON SCENE.. we also have "absolute sobriety laws", which means persons under 21 cannot have ONE DROP of alcohol in their system. For those of u shocked he is arrested for a .02, that's why he is in trouble. In my state, he would've been tested at the scene, arrested after seeing he blew .02, and he would've immediately been charged with a crime regarding the injuries his friend suffered. Our investigations don't take months to happen.

Is it just California, or is it just for RICH, CELEBRITY SUSPECTS that these "investigations" take so long???

It's not like he was trying to get his friend brain dead. Stop being so selfish and for once think about how Nick is feeling right now. I'm guessing he isn't feeling quite well. I really really feel sorry for Nick for having to live with this the rest of his life.

you know its very typical of people to want to blame others for everything. When in reality, John knows how much Nick loves speeding and it was OBVIOUS that this wasn't his first time speeding, PLUS, Nick chose not to wear a seatbelt which was his own life risk. So in reality, you guys really need to stop blaming nick and only nick

I understand he was a fuckup for doing this, but he is not the ONLY one at fault here.

You know, it might be John's own fault that he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, provided alcohol..but you know what? He's PAYING for that. He is suffering consequences for his mistakes. I'm sure he'd rather be looking at jailtime than to be a damn vegetable the rest of his life!

Nick needs to pay too. He came out of the accident unscathed. Well, he's gotta pay the piper too!
