I really don't know why everyone was so worked up waiting for an announcement. I mean, if they want to tell the world, then more power to them. If they didn't want to make a public announcement, then they shouldn't be forced to (not that I think they were forced). Why do we as Americans always have to speculate whether there is something growing in someone's womb?

SHE said it was because she didn't want the fans to be burdened with any other thoughts other than the show that she was putting on, and I agree. If she had said she was pregnant back when we started to notice, that would have totally overshadowed the whole tour.

Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...

Maleficent!

At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!

Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!

She explains:

"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."

And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

So, so cool!
