Tom Cruise's Box Office Disaster
His golden streak is definitely over!
Tom Cruise's latest movie, Lion For Lambs, opened in the U.S. this weekend with a whimper.
The film came in at #4 with a measly $6.7 million take.
The #3 film took in three times as much as Cruise's film! That was Vince Vaughn's Fred Clause, which made $19.2 mill. The Clause film will also have much more staying power as it is a holiday flick and very family-friendly.
This does not bode well for Tom's new United Artist, as Lion For Lambs was the first film he did for the studio, which he's now a part of.
We're sure that Nazi film he's working on will do even worse!

I saw this movie on Saturday night and it is still resonating with me today as an Australian. You should go and see this movie and then make a stupid worthless comment about one of the greatest actors of our time. You don't have to like Tom Cruise to appreciate his ability. I saw this movie yesterday. Well, I saw about half. Walked out with the majority of people there mid-way. Utter boring garbage. I even agree with its premise, but I couldn't stand the preaching and moronic tone. Yes, it's important to think, but this movie only serves to lobotomize its patrons.

4th is GREAT for a movie of this genre. With a 35 mill price tag, it'll be turning a profit before you blink. Imagine that. I'm definitely going to see it.

Tom only has one scene, and the rest of the movie will leave you with something to think about as you walk out. It's one of the best movies that i have seen in a while.
