The shady plastic surgeon, Jan Adams, with multiple DUI arrests, malpractice suits and other unpleasantries that performed on Kanye West's deceased mother, Donda, issued a statement late Tuesday.
The dirty doc says, "I want to first express my deepest condolences to the West family at a very difficult time. As a medical doctor practicing in this field, I hold sacred the bond of confidentiality that exists between the patient and doctor. Out of respect of the West family, and the absence of verifiable information, any comment without having first discussing that information with the family would be unprofessional."
Unfortunately, your deepest condolences aren't gonna bring Kanye's mom back to life!
Nor are they gonna fix all the mistakes you've made on previous patients!

Honestly, if the first doctor turned her down because of a medical condition, then seeking another doctor who was less ethical is kind of Donda West's own fault. I hate to speak ill of the dead, but really, she was looking for a doctor who would perform an unnecessary, cosmetic surgery despite a medical condition which precluded another doctor taking her on as a patient, and well guess what…she found one. Yes, he probably shouldn't be practicing, but again, he didn't call Donda, she called him. You get what you pay for.

It was her own choice to have him perform cosmetic surgury on her (a 58 year old). That choice probably led to the death not the doctor involved. I'm not going to blame him for doing his job (as far as I know he did) RIP

we should all be wary of our doctors they are many times incompetant and hurried and overly confident in their opinions and ability, also they beleive in throwing dangerous prescription drugs or surgery at a problem instead of addressing the source of the problem or using much safer "alternative" methods

It's already been in the newspapers today that she didn't want to spend 48 hrs in hospital, and the first surgeon she went to refused to operate because of that. I don't think anyone fully explained all the risks to her. Some people will do anything for money and this doc deserves to lose his license. It's something that shouldn't have happened.

It happens, doctors are people and sometimes make mistakes. And sometimes patients die after surgery because their health is already weakened for some reason, and it isn't the doctor's fault. She had unnecessary surgery, she rolled the dice and came up unlucky. Sometimes vanity has a high price. Now she'll have an infinite number of mirrors to stare into for all eternity, but that could be either heaven or hell for her.

Plastic surgery is probably a highly sued practice. People want miracles and when they don't look like a cover model, they sue. Kanye's mom was having a tummy tuck? That is usually done after a significant weight loss. It should not be done as a way to lose the weight. If she had been told "no" by another doctor then she is partially responsible for her fate.

Kanye's mom chose to go to this plastic surgeon because he could get the job done quickly. It is very unfortunate that she would not take the 30 minutes to go see her family physician to get medical clearance, then she may still be alive. I do medical clearances for surgeries on a daily basis and it is a simple 20-30 minute appt where you see the MD, have some blood drawn, and have an EKG. She chose to skip this, there is no one to blame but herself.
Well, maybe if they had done their research and didn't just pick the first black plastic surgeon they found in the yellow pages this wouldn't have happend!!!!

Every reputable plastic surgeon requires at least an overnight stay at an aftercare facility following a tummy tuck, if not in the hospital. It costs less than $1000 per day, they could have afforded it.

Kanye West's mother was already told she shouldn't have the surgery because of a previous heart condition. She was so desperate to get the surgery she didn't listen looked for a surgeon who would do it for her. Apparently for the right price, even a "doctor" will go against medical facts. No one deserves to die for something so frivilous. But West's mother is a bit to blame for this, it's not all on the doctor. She made a fatal mistake for the sake of vanity. It's very tragic.

I had surgery with this quack a few years ago on my chest and to this day I dread entering his office in Beverly Hills. My chest is destroyed and I have suffered severe depression from it. As a gay man nothing could be worse the having a sunken in chest that is non repairable.

He used to be the host of a show on the Discovery Health Channel, "Plastic Surgery Before and After." I can't believe he had such a bad reputation and the Discovery Channel let him host a show like that and get free publicity for his own business!

Who knows what sort of papers she had. Seriously, Perez, cool it on the Hate Culture Perpetuate or you'll be going down the same drain. . . shoot.
This guy is looking bad. I'll admit. But what you're leaving out, Perez, is that almost all doctors face malpractice suits! That's what's driving doctors out of business in some states (Pennsylvania comes to mind). At any given time, a good well-educated honorable surgeon might be facing a half-dozen malpractice suits. That's why they pay upwards of $500K a year in malpractice insurance.
This guy better get his affairs in order. My money is on his 'mysterious' disappearance not too long down the road.
