What Does Her Book Say About Her???

Kate Bosworth was spotted in New York City on Monday night, carrying with her a copy of the classic Sister Carrie by Theodore Dreiser.
Sister Carrie (1900) is a novel by Theodore Dreiser about a young country girl who moves to the big city where she starts realizing her own American Dream by first becoming a mistress to powerful men and later as a famous actress.
Inneresting choice Boz!

Hmmm…..sounds inneresting……I might pick that up myself!
Hmmm…..sounds inneresting (hehe)……I might pick that up myself!
C'mon perez…typos in the title???
you could research the book a little more perez-
the woman ends up miserable and alone with only money to comfort her…
you might like to apply that one to her!
I think Perez misspelled "about " to "aboy" on purpose just to get you guys to bring it up! The first time, was I'm sure not on purpose, but this time probably is. I think he likes to get you guys to bitch about it.
And to get some of you guys all fired up over it.
It's workinging! You already got two people bringing it up.
It's funny.
if she's so smart, why is she wearing sunglasses when it is dark out? now that, my friend, is interesting!
Ok, Ok~mispell a word in a paragraph~fine, Use poor Grammar in an opening sentence~acceptable, but Mispell a word in your own HEADLINE? Where did you go to school? Any of you? Hello? Is there an Editor up in that jig or what? Need one? Hire me~you will never get another comment about spelling or grammar again~unless it's positive
what's up with the typo's ??????????
what's up with the typo's ??????????
great book. awful actress. carrie's story seems very relevant here.
The spine isn't even cracked. Books for show!
It's a really good book! I recommend it to anyone who wants to branch out from gossip rags and People magazine. I read the crap with the classics, any good bibliophile knows that!
Kate was accepted to Princeton but didn't go.
anybody but a celebretard trying to get photographed would have put the book in her purse, under her arm or in a bag. Soooooo desperate.
And this fuck has the balls to call people dumb? Interesting..
barnes and noble classics edition.
Put that book down and get to the stylist STAT! Her outfit is horrible!
PLEASE… SHE IS JUST HOLDING THE BOOK THAT HER PR GAVE HER FOR THE PICTURE….
At the end of it all the girl is left and alone. Its a good read for those that are able to tear themselves away from from the internet or tv. It was a book that caused a stir when it was written and it wasn't until many many years later that it has become a classic.
who are these dumb bitches fooling we know WOMEN ARE TO STUPID AS FUCK
Moma think her books says that she getting paid to carry around a book.
Dont mess with yo'moma
I also recommend Drieser's other novel An American Tragedy which is based on the Chester Gillette murder of his pregnant girlfriend Grace. It went on to become the 1950 movie A Place In The Sun starring Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift. Also, Murder In The Adirondacks is also a good read based on the Gillette case.
Everyone keeps commenting on the "Aboy" typo, but no mention of "Inneresting." If you're going to play editor, don't half ass it. Keep your day jobs people!
I promise you she is carrying this book for show. She is not reading it. I had to read it in eleventh grade for English. We were about a hundred pages from the end, we'd been studying it for like a month, and my English teacher finally got so sick of how terrible it is she threw the book against the wall and cancelled the rest of the reading assignments. We just moved on to the next thing on the syllabus. So what the book says about Kate Bosworth is that she's a liar. Or at least fake.
Kate is a stupid bitc**** and her style is awful. Is she high on something?
actually it's an ok book. hilarious moral downfalls and carrie becomes the sugar momma for what was her sugar daddy - if I remember correctly. Not un-entertaining
actually she was accepted to princeton university….so yeah..she is smart
SHE'S OBVIOUSLY DOING THE MOVIE VERSION OF THE BOOK. HER MANAGER PROBABLY GAVE HER THE BOOK TO READ AS SOURCE MATERIAL. SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD ROLE, BUT SHE'S NOT A VERY GOOD ACTRESS. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOMEBODY SEXIER LIKE ANGIE OR KATE WINSLET (OR KATE BECKINSALE OR ANY OTHER KATE REALLY) DO THIS MOVIE ROLE INSTEAD. HOPEFULLY, SHE IS JUST AUDITIONING AND THE ROLE WILL GO TO SOMEBODY ELSE.
Who care about her she's so damn boring?
I like how the book looks brand new and the spine hasn't even been broken. PROP!
Actually, sister carrie, by Dreiser is about a country girl who moves to the big city in the late 1800- early 1900, her family does not take care of her and she ends up a prostitute/kept woman- rather than a glamourous"mistress" of a wealth or famous man, and ends up working in s sweat shop to save herself. its depressing and was seen as a "cautionary tale" and response to the suffrage rights of women: (ie: "Look what will happen to you if you are allowed to make your own decisions, ladies"… )
Sister Carrie was already made into a movie in 1952 with Sir Lawrence Olivier. It would be a travesty if it was remade with no talent Kate Bosworth. And sunglasses at night? What a dumb douche bag she is.
that chloe bag is big enough to put the book in
i read that book in college (by read i mean, spark notes) and it was so fucking tedious and boring i wanted to die.
Re: jabber – "who are these dumb bitches fooling we know WOMEN ARE TO STUPID AS FUCK"
WOMEN ARE TO STUPID AS FUCK??
She probably thought it was about Carrie from Sex and the City. Explains the confused look on her face…
Reading a novel qualifies you as being "smart"? The bar isn't set very high, now is it?
What's the difference between a prostitute and an actress? The prostitute doesn't drive a BMW.
I bet she's reading it to prepare for a movie role.
it says she has great taste in literature
I have to agree with alot of others on here….why is she famous? She couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag…just my two cents.
Great, another role for Bosworthless to butcher.
And to the person who thinks getting into Princeton makes you smart: she was a legacy admission. That means Daddykins probably had some pull. If she had bothered to go that would be one thing, but she blew it off to be an "actress." How's that working out for ya, Kate?
Oh, and I love how she's making sure everyone sees the title of the book. "Hey, y'all, I'm like totally smart an' stuff! Between snorting and purging I totally read the ancient classics!" Wannabe.
Are you sure this was monday night? As she was filming in New Zealand on Monday….and she can't be in two places at once
Yeah, right. That is probably a fake cover and the text is Danielle Steel.
Fun fact: "Sister Carrie" was one of the inspirational sources behind "Sex & the City".
I tried to read that book. It was terrible. Maybe the movie will be better. But Kate Bosworth?! Give it to Anne Hathaway.
Re: litclicker – Kate Bosworth got accepted to Princeton University so she is very bright. Why can't she be reading a great American novel? I read War and Peace (1000 pages, not all in one go) so there…
Re: xenu – legacy admission gives you an edge but you cannot be dumb and get in. Princeton's acceptance rate is in the 12-15% range
What the hell! a book about her own life..sad..
n I DO NOT watch that bitches movies NO MORE..
What the hell! a book about her own life..sad..
n I DO NOT watch that bitches movies NO MORE..
Ha! I never thought Sister Carrie would get a mention on Perez Hilton. Wonders will never cease!
Sister Carrie was a prostitute. Try actually reading a book. You might learn something.
If this is actually Kate Bosworth, she has gained weight. Good for her.
WHO CARES ABOUT KATE BOSWORTH. SHE HAS BEEN IN 1 HALF DECENT MOVIE AND THAT WAS 4 YEARS AGO. SHE NOT HOT AND SHE HAS NO DRUG OR ALCHOHOL PROBLEMS SO LETS FORGET ABOUT HER. MAYBE IF SHE CARRIED BOOKS AROUND THAT WERE HOLLOWED OUT AND HAD GUNS IN THEM AND SHOT A PAP SHE MIGHT BE MODERATLY INTERESTING. SHE NEEDS A NEW PUBLICIST
Re: Mary Marie – I've read the book. So what's your problem? It's a great novel. Remember, this is not a real person so don't whack out cuz she's a prostitute or something (which she really wasn't) you don't have to get so involved
Movie stars and heiresses are the only people I know of who carry a bag big enough to hold a book yet they insist on carrying the book by itself. So goddamn stupid. Like this fatty fat's fatness. Fat.
Sister Carrie is one of the best american novels before 1945- fact
blue crush is the best movie ever made- fact (but more opinion)
Great book.
I'm reading "Memorias de mis putas tristes" by Garcia Marquez…what does it say about me???
it says she's a cheapskate that Barnes and Noble paperback didn't cost her more than 6 bucks. less if the she has the membership card.
