Celine vs. Alicia: Who Will Come Out On Top?
The numbers are in!
Both Celine Dion and Alicia Keys released new albums this week. And while they didn't come into it with any of the Kanye/50 hype, both are expected to sell very well.
Only one will take the #1 spot, though.
No One is expected to sell about 550,000 copies, music biz peeps tell PerezHilton.com.
Meanwhile, Dion's Taking Chances, her first English-language album in four years, should sell about 250,000.
Congrats to both women.

It's not even worth equating them in the same category. Celine is in a category of her own that is really untouchable. Talent like that doesn't exist anymore.
I do see more promotion for the Keys CD by the mass media. She obviously sells to the younger buyer which in turn means more money for the Mass Media. Keys and Celine albums are released by the same company so is there a real winner? Celine has a Huge following She's the #1 selling Female artist of all time for Gods Sake. Sold out shows for 5 years in a row in Vegas 250k sounds a little low but will see, Celine did do some last minute PR this week.
