The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced on Wednesday that Rumer Willis will be Miss Golden Globe 2008.
Suck on that!
Yes, our favorite vegetable-headed wannabe will be the trophy girl at this year's Golden Globes, airing January 13th on NBC.
"We are delighted to have Rumer Willis join us to celebrate 'The 65 th Annual Golden Globe Awards,'" said Jorge Camara, head of the Hollywood Foreign Press, at the announcement. "Since both of her parents have enjoyed successful entertainment careers in the acting profession, she is doubly qualified to serve as Miss Golden Globe."
Bruce & Demi must be so proud! This is all they could have ever hoped for!
Miss Golden Globe is usually the celebuspawn of some well-known celebrity.

I stand by my comments, as I actually have a vested interest in the beautification of this, and other fugly girls in general. And Carrot Head, plastic surgery is nowadays actually a very common procedure…and in the majority of cases the outcome is very successful. Unfortunately, sometimes complications do happen but on the whole it will be a worthwhile investment. So please Carrot Head, don't be afraid to pool your meagre savings and venture a procedure which is right for you when the need arises. And if the surgery truly is beyond your budget, perhaps you may be better suited towards payment via installment plan.

Rumer has had starring roles in movies and it is not always up to the parent what profession they choose, and from what I have read (again these vile gossip magazines and columns) I think Demi and Bruce have done a wonderful job raising all three of their girls after all you never hear of Rumer Willis being in trouble, underage in clubs, DUI's, drug possession, so people get off your little bandwagons and let this girl enjoy being a teenager in a complicated hollywood world where she has managed to overcome more than you already know at least she isn't having plastic surgery or is anorexic she is what we in Australia call NORMAL…
