Arrested!
Katie Cassidy, 20, was arrested for underage drinking two weeks ago in Tucson when the car she was being driven in was pulled over for a traffic violation.
And, in a truly despicable move, the star of The CW's Supernatural lied to police when they questioned her.
Katie, the daughter of Partridge Family star David Cassidy and ex-girlfriend of Jesse McCartney, appeared drunk when quizzed by cops, who noted her slurred speech, clumsy movements, and booze breath.
A source familiar with the arrest said that Katie's blood alcohol level was .16, twice the legal limit in Arizona.
Cassidy told cops that her name was Taylor Quinn Cole and that she was 21 years old.
Taylor is the name of an actress Katie knows. She also said she lived in Vancouver and didn't have any identification.
When the police officers asked her date of birth, Cassidy replied, "4-29-84."

An officer then told Cassidy the date she gave would have made her 23, and Katie confessed. [The 1984 date Cassidy offered is Cole's actual birth date.]
Katie told police that she lied about her identity because she was scared and, according to one report, "She said that she is a Hollywood actress and that this would not look good for her."
Then, making her even more of a dumb blonde, Cassidy continued blabbing.
Kids, don't speak to the cops! Wait for your lawyer!
Katie acknowledged that she knew the legal drinking age was 21, adding that she had consumed "several glasses of wine" and some "cranberry and vodka" that night.
And, making this even worse, when cops called Cassidy's mother, she wanted to know "what could be done," since her daughter was a "high-profile" actress.
When a police officer replied that the arrested CW star would have to appear in court to answer misdemeanor charges (minor in possession and false reporting to a law enforcement agent), Cassidy's mother explained that her daughter "didn't have time to come back to court."
Too bad, bitch!
Cassidy, who was arraigned this week, is next due in court on December 18th.

After reading the police report the driver(not cassidy) is in a world of shit.
1) Underage drinking (19 years old)
2) DUI
3) Hitting a parked car (While being pulled over by the police. No one was inside the parked car.)
4) Having an open container of alcohol (Vodka and cranberry juice in a red cup. Cassidy told the officer that it was his.)

Everyone is missing the point. Was it dumb for her to lie? Yes. Does it matter that she is only 20 years old? No. As a American, if we can go off to war and get killed at 18, we should be able to get drunk. The reason this truly sucks is because Taylor Quinn Cole's name is a part of this and that's not cool. But it's alright for Taylor (who by the way is a better actress than Katie) to get bad publicity?! That happened to me when I was under age. I was a passenger and we got pulled over. The cop asked me if I had been drinking and said yes. He asked if I was 21 and I said no. He said " you know, it's illegal to drink under 21 right?" I said "yes but at least I wasn't driving!" …He kind of laughed and said "yea..at least you weren't". Cops appreciate honesty. That probably why they even gave her a hard time. Geez. If Paris isn't above the law with her daddys' money WTF is this chick thinking?
