Britney Spears' lawyers are going to argue that she has ADD and it is her medication for that which made her fail a recent drug test.
Her attorneys are going to battle it out with K-Fed's on Friday, the 16th.
Earlier in the week, Brit's camp tried to blame the failed test, which came back positive for an amphetamine, on Provigil, which she reportedly takes. While that drug has amphetamine-like results, it's not an amphetamine and wouldn't show up as such on a drug test. Neither would Albuterol, the asthma medication that Spears reportedly takes. It can help ya lose weight if you don't have asthma, but it's not an amphetamine.
Brit Brit sure does take a lot of prescription meds!
Adderal is used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder and Spears is reportedly on that. Adderal could cause one to test positive for amphetamines on a drug test.
Adderal is also used by college students and Hollywood types that don't have ADD to stay awake and lose weight. It's pretty much crack in a pill!
K-Fed's lawyers wanna keep cracked out Britney from driving with the kids in the car. And that sounds like a good plan!

adderol is intense. i took it for a bit two years ago to get through tough times in school. i no longer do any drugs but i used to do a few. adderol was more intense than a lot of other hard drugs. seriously. the stuff is insane. plus, the down afterwards is like nothing else

I have nothing against Britney Spears, how could I? I don't even know her. I do know that I am sick of seeing her, hearing about her, reading about her everywhere. People who use METH often take adderal as well, esp when tested b/c if they have a prescription, they pass the test b/c they would test positive from the adderal so it's a get out a jail free card- if that makes any sense.

When you take a drug test you list on the form what prescription meds you are on. YOU DO NOT FAIL A DRUG TEST if a drug is found and you have a prescription for it!!

Can't help but think. Anna Nicole was on a lot of prescription meds, too. Look where she ended up. This girl needs to be locked up in a mental hospital. She needs professional help. She does not belong anywhere around those kids, or driving a car, or anything else. If she is in court on all these other matters, and if the judge has already described her ans a habitual drug user, then the court should be able to intervene and make her go into a hospital. Her life is in danger.
lol I was on Adderall and it sucked! I lost too much weight and it really messed with my ADHD. It actually made it worse. However, I have never heard of anyone using the ADHD defense in a court case. Now that is just stupid. Admit her to the damn psych ward, not some cushy little rehab center. I am talking hospital gowns and NO LUXURY WHATSOEVER! She obviously has no appreciation for herself or her children. I think a psych ward stay for a few months would do her well.

Ya, dennis, i agree with you. It definetly explains her behaviour and that drug fits the symptoms that she has been exhibiting lately. It is truly sad, especially for people like us who have a bad history with it, because we know exactly how much it can ruin lives. I can't believe that her family and friends have let her go on like this for as long as they have. Ultimately, it is her own decision to be rid of that lifestyle, but it does help to have people there who are not part of that circle and encouraging her to get help. People have all been through similar things, but how would they like to have it all recorded on pictures and video? I can't imagine that.

actually, adderall isn't 'crack in a pill' it definitely isn't as harsh and it helps with people who have difficulties concentrating. yes, you do loose weight on it even if it was prescribed to you. but it has many many benefits to using it. it definitely doesn't make you act you're on crack though!!!

Some may abuse it, but don't make it seem like those who are legally allowed to take it are taking "crack in a pill." I took adderall in college, lost about 15 lbs in a month, and was crazy. It makes you very scattered, and obsessive. I lost a lot of friends during that time because the mood swings are crazy. Sometimes you want to see people, other times you just want to organize stuff.

Adderall and provigil both show up in the urine as amphetamine. A 9 panel, which im sure is what she has to take, tests for amphetamines as well as methamphetamines. Although she probably doesn't need the provigil, whoever said she was on meth needs to get their facts straight
Re: amber – umm, yes it does. I had friends on it illegally(if she was taking it legally she wouldn't have failed the test and it would have shown up on other tests). Maybe you're too old to know or just oblivious, but college students use this drug to keep themselves up all night for weeks even to study. It is prescription speed and really fucks people up. Know someone who has done it illegally before falsely stating that it is not that harsh, it is. It seriously scared me to see friends on it, they really do act like they are on crack, and even though they can study and remember everything, they are in an altered scary state of mind. It is just like seeing someone on speed. It is an unnecessary highly abused drug. It really does not have many many benefits, do you work for the drug company that makes money of this drug? Because it is addictive and horrible.
