#121 Cubans helped build up Miami, because the government gave them massive amount of money to build that's why. Even today the U.S.taxpayers are supporting your anti-castro television stations and broadcast that doesn't do any good anyway because the cuban government blocks it and taxpayer money goes to paying your salaries. Castro opened his jails in the 1980's and allowed all of cuba's criminals to flee to florida where they reside still. That's because it was mostly the white cubans who fled at the revolution! But no Cuba is not 60% black, 40% at best!! And yes Cuban is Cuban, like an American is an American. There are white Americans as well as Asian, African and others, but the Asians I know say American asian, African American, American Indian like that. When the media shows images of Cuba itself it does not show the afro cubans as well as the whites, so what you say is not true. As mentioned earlier, there are more white cubans in florida than afro cubans so naturally that is what the news show when they talk about cubans in florida. There is nothing racist about it.
