Living up to his status as a royal douche, Z-lister Reichen is making legal threats against ex-boyfriend Lance Bass.
Seems like the Ken Doll lookalike with plastic brains is upset that Princess Frostylocks wrote about him and their troubled relationship in his new autobiography, Out Of Sync.
Trying to make himself look better, Reichen just wrote this post on his official MySpace blog, which just makes him look much much worse.

In response to all of the MySpace email I am receiving surrounding this matter…
Please do not take literally the stories running this week in these particular magazines about me and my ex-relationship. No one is suing anyone, and all is well.
I chose to NOT fight back against the slander, fed to the media by my ex-relationship, by using my own gift of a voice in the media, as a way to air my own many and very strong personal feelings about my past relationship.
Instead, my representation, in an act of concern, simply sent an appropriate letter to those responsible, asking that attempts to paint me in a negative light with blatant and unnecessary lies and deceit, please stop. It ends there. Nothing else is happening.
The request is simple. It is my wish that my ex-relationship discontinue referring to me in the media in association with expressing his personal feelings about me, that he discontinue attacking my current relationship(s) in the print-media and, more than anything, that all events, including the drama surrounding them, from that year of my life, simply go away. I choose to no longer pay attention to it.
These and various previous slanderous remarks about me are invalid, false, and meant for damage, and are being used in an attempt to sway public opinion in the favor of another's image in an unfair way. I prefer to no longer be a part of these attemps. I prefer to be removed from any such plan to promote another.
For my own peace of mind, this is a time that I would like to forget ever happened.
The relationship in question, and the drama that surrounded it, destroyed much of what I have worked to accomplish and stand for, what I've worked to be associated with, and how I am viewed as an individual. I could have never imagined the severity of damage such a relationship would inflict on me and those around me. It is up to me to ask that efforts to continue this type of negative impact on my life discontinue, which is what I have done, through my representation.
My final wish, surrounding this matter, from an overall outside perspective, is that I am no longer associated with this ex-relationship or the people involved in prolonging its existence, and that I'm no longer associated with that time of my life, in general. I do, however, continue to wish all those involved–the very best in their own lives, away from mine.
I stood as my own person before all of it (when I was not considered "so-and-so's boyfriend"), and will be much happier to be considered, and to consider myself, someone who stands on his own, once again.

Yeah, I think he sounds fine. If your being talked and written about in a negative way you have every right to defend yourself. Just as someone has a right to print anything and then cry "freedom of speech!" another has the right to speak out against it. It doesn't make them a "douche", it makes them human.

It's douchey because a) Lance only said nice things about Reichen in the actual book and b) the only negative thing Lance has said about Reichen was in a GQ interview, when asked specifically about Reichen, to which he basically replied that none of his friends liked Reichen and he couldn't understand why–and now he does.
Plus, doesn't this blog itself count as reacting to the so-called slander? I think Reichen needs a vocab lesson. It's only slander if it's false and hurts the reputation of a public figure. Neither of which apply in this case.

I don't see anything "plastic-brained" about his statement, or douche-bag worthy. In fact, it's very articulate, and he expresses precisely what he wants and needs without making a personal attack. Seems like a perfectly fine request to me. And there's nothing hostile about having a laywer write a letter, for crying out loud. In fact it's probably the most appropriate thing to do in this case. It keeps it at a business level without all of the emotional mess that can come from this sort of thing.
It is common knowledge that Reichen is a big dirty pig bottom. I am sure these two were not compatible sexually anyhow. Two bottoms can't possibly be happy together.

Lance DIDN'T say anything bad about Reichen on his book. In fact, he NEVER said Reichen cheated on him. It was Reichen who talked about it on his blog, losers. Pay attention, weirdos.
In Out of sync, Lance talks about how he and Reichen got together, then about how difficult it made staying in the closet. Then, he tells how it all led to him coming out, though I will say he neglects to mention Perez altogether. He definitely doesn't go into any detail on their break-up. Here's what he says:

My friends and I hung out with Lance and Reichen in Seattle when they were here for 2 days for R's book release - I have never posted on your site - but all this nasty press - game on.
1) Reichen was nice to every single person who came up to talk to him. He genuinely appreciated the interest in his book, and used his time to network, and express opinion on the don't ask don't tell policy - not use his time to hook up. 2) Lance on the otherhand, was trying to hookup, and try to take 3 different boys back to their room. One local hottie and he spent most of the evening on the sofa in the backroom of the club, with Lance's arm around him, 2 of my friends, and I saw Lance rub the hottie's crotch, and also put his hand in the back of the boy's pants. 3) my other friend who was Lance's security - who Lance kept trying to lose - observed Lance taking 2 boys to the private bathroom to play "i'll show you mine if you show me yours" and waited outside the bathroom door as the 3 of them were in the onetoilet bathroom for 15minutes (he counted) - the 3 them came out giggling and sniffing - as Lance asked if Reichen had come by. He had no idea that the other boys were in there. Since the back room and private bath were so far from each other - Reichen knew logistically - it was hard to maneuver around the club because there were so many people.

4) I talked to sofa hottie afterwards and he said that Lance actually put his finger up his butt (!) and asked him back to the hotel room among other things - and the security guy and I didn't see Reichen try to hookup with anyone. All he kept asking was "where's lance?" - I even told him - I had never seen anyone so in love - which was why I was so stupid when I heard the other stuff.
Get over it people, Let Reichen move on with his life! And get those rose colored glasses off about Lance! He's on Lexapro, for godsakes!
Also - for some of these people saying how dumb Reichen is - do people realize that the Air Force academy is harder to get in than Harvard and the rest of the Ivy League? It shows how humble he actually is, that he's taken the high road in this whole situation - just let him be hot, and have his life! Haters are just jealous!
I really don't see why you would think badly of him for this post. I don't blame him. It really isn't fair to him for his celebrity ex-boyfriend to be dragging his personal business out into the public, to use for HIS own gain. Anyone with any class knows you don't talk about things that might be personal to your exes, even if you are mad at them. It's one thing talking to your friends and family, it's another thing to write them in a book.
