And I've seen live footage of her on cable recently and her voice has gone to shit. I believe in early interviews Madonna cited Harry & Chrissy Hynde as big influences on her so it's not like she didn't acknowledge that aspect of her persona. And I'm sorry but, sure, looking back on 1985 today it looks like a joke, but that was the shit then. Tons of girls all over the US were copying the way Madonna looks in Susan. We'll see how this generations fads & fashions & hair styles hold up twenty years from now. Madonna ruled back then, plain & simple. Suck on it if you don't like it.

No, dumbass Perez, that's not supposed to be Madonna in her prime. That is supposed to be a character called Susan, that a horrible actress named Madonna played in a movie a gazillion years ago. The character looks like that. Madonna was playing a character, that admitedly dressed in a similar manner. And I might add that Madonna is lucky the chatacter was similar to her because otherwise her acting would have been just as awful as it has been in every other movie she has ever made. Here, it was merely bad.
And BTW, I would go easy on using the words "hideous" and "hag", especially because Madonna is looking pretty beat up these days herself!

Hey genius, having a world-wide #1 album says nothing about talent. It's a testament to marketing skills and producing whatever shit that the dumbass public will consume simply because that dumb slag put it out. Blondie albums do way better in Europe because they're smart enough to not bother trying to appeal to the stupid US masses that buy crap like Madonna. Debbie's voice shows age for sure, but she writes her own music and doesn't rely on overproduction to disguise a lack of vocal skill. Listen to "Necessary Evil." She sounds better than ever. I've seen her live several times and she is incredible. She doesn't need to surround herself by dancers and "controversy" to distract from a lack of vocal skill. Ever heard Mandonna without backing tracks? YIKES. It ain't pretty. Debbie can also ACT, unlike Mandonna. See "Heavy." She is amazing.

It's high time you take a look in the mirror and stop projecting your inner-loathing onto other individuals such as these ladies. For all you know, the musical could be very good along with these people in it.

I enjoy Madonna also. She's political, provocative, shrewd and inspiring. But she's also a narcissist and her vocal talents are well-known to be aided by good production values. Not much of a challenge to play her onstage.

I'm happy for your accomplishments and I do hope you find continued success, but it's time to grow up a little. There will come a day when all this glitz and glamour will not seem as all fabulous and that empty void in your soul will start to ache…..
