   For all you people saying "she's not black". Well what makes a person black or white anyways? Who created these racial categories?…is it "natural", in the same way that people say that gender is "natural". Well in that case you should know that the different racial categories weren't created until the late 1400's with the beginning of colonialism and the categories have varied. It wasn't always "black", "white", "asian" or wathever. For some time "malay" was considered to be a distinct different race and "chinese" was a seperate one just as "ethiopian" was one category and "african-negroid" was another just to show some examples. The idea of racial categories and racial hierarchy is a social construct, just like gender, that were originally created to explain and justify the social order. Isn't it time that we get over this? Isn't it time we realize that this is just bullshit and that although the idea of race has had a huge impact on the world and its societies, isn't something "natural" or constant…but actually is something that should be questioned and deconstructed??? Anyway…i know this is SO the wrong forum for this but I just couldn't help myself after reading all the ignorant comments on the alicia keys and angelina page…
