Meh. I'm not impressed. They're Spice Girls wannabes. Obviously the "band" was started to fill the hole the Spice Girls created when they retired. I could even point out which Spice each of these girls should represent - totally saw Baby, Posh, Ginger and Sporty in there. The song was boring and they moved like sloths. Phoned it in. Marginally attractive - hookers who were taught to dance and lipsynch.

I loooove the Spice Girls, but I love, like, adore, worship, go crazy over Girls Aloud.

They all can sing unlike the Spice Girls, their songs are catchy, fun, meaningful (a la Whole Lotta History). They are fantabulous. And they are not known by nick names, but buy their actual real names, CHERYL, Kimberley, Nicola, Nadine and Sarah.

I wish they were as big in Aus as they are in the UK.

I loooove them. And I met them too, Cheryl Tweedy gets a hard time, but she is absolutely lovely in person. I spoke to her for 10 minutes when she and the group came to Sydney in 2006.

And btw, Girls Aloud have plenty of good songs. The song isn't a fucking dance song, they're not gonna break out glowsticks. Something Kinda Ooooh and Wake Me Up are two of the greatest pop songs in recent years.

This group doesn't work because these 5 girls all look alike and act alike. They all act like you owe them money. I can't tell them apart besides there is a short blonde. I have to tell them apart by their hair color and style? That's not right.

Their dancing is so boring. It's like bunch of models posing. That's not dancing.

actually, they do sell out arenas all the time, regardless of whether or not it's just in the uk…their entire greatest hits tour sold out every arena that it was in. it's funny someone mentioned how you can't tell them apart, yet the spice girls have ditched their individual styles and gone for a uniform look, so who cares? and regardless, spice girls in their prime was fantastic, but the comeback thing they are doing just isn't working like it used to. it's fun, but it's not working. the end.

After this performance they went to London's G-A-Y club and MIMED their way through some tracks from their new album, and finished off with a live performance of Love Machine, and it was awful.

Still a good night though with a great atmosphere, Mrs O was there along with Leona and Louis from The X Factor.
