Anna Nicole Smith's estranged mother Virgie Arthur leaves a court house in the Bahamas on Monday during the first day of the inquest into the death of her grandson Daniel.
The Playmate's former "lover" and lawyer, Howard K. Stern was also there.
Daniel died well over a year ago, in September of 2006, of a suspected accidental drug overdose.
Speaking outside court during a lunch break, Virgie told reporters she was finding it hard listening to details of Daniel's death.

i agree. it wasn't an overdose Perez!! remember the Perper autopsy? it was a MIX of prescription drugs. no dosage issues. ovedose means he just took too much of a drug. the autopsy said he just MIXED his anti-depressant with a common over-the-counter sleeping pill. it was a sad, sad mistake. I agree, I can't believe that Larry wasn't selling "exclusive inquest coverage" of himself through the various stages of the investigation. Certainly OK! Magazine would love to scoop that story. And as far as Virgie is concerned, she was completely estranged from Daniel for years leading up to his death so I don't know what kind of sympathy she is trying to garner here.
