Jonathan Rhys Myers was arrested at an airport in Dublin on Sunday and charged with being drunk and a breach of the peace.

The actor, who completed a stint in rehab seven months ago, tells the December issue of Details:

"I didn’t drink until I was 25, and I never drank every day, but when I did, it was bad. It would be a couple of days that just wouldn’t work out for me, waking up with a hangover. Drink doesn’t fit into the groove of where my life is going."

He's just making up for lost time!!!

      I agree with Miriam…I LOVED his look in Velvet Goldmine. He's got those crazy eyes, which really work for him. But in this picture, that 'stache (eeuuuuggghhh!!!) makes him look like the greasy boys from 10th grade with the fuzzy caterpillars on their upper lips.

      Whatever. He's hot, a GREAT actor, if he drinks, so be it. So many of our best actors were drinkers, Oliver Reed, Marlon Brando, James Dean, etc, etc, etc.

      That's bull that he didn't drink till he was 25. He's a total liar. He changed his name and accent to act all posh but he's still a skanger who got kicked out of school aged 15 and only went into acting cos he couldn't do anything else.

      Actually, he had to do quite a lot to get arrested, I heard that he made a commotion at the security check first. Then when he got through that, he made more trouble when he got to his boarding get. The airport police came and took him back "landside" and he made more trouble so the real police were called then. It was fully described on the national news yesterday morning.
