Zahara Jolie-Pitt’s biological mum reveals rape; denies dispute
The biological mother of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s older daughter Zahara has revealed that the little girl was conceived after a rape.
Zahara was originally thought to be an orphan when Angelina adopted her from Ethopia in 2005 but her biological mother Mentwabe Dawit has now come forward to deny rumours she’s planning to challenge Angelina and Brad for custody.
Mentwabe explained that Zahara, who she had previously named Yemsrach, was born after a rape in 2004. Mentwabe told Reuters that she was walking home one evening after a day working at a construction site when a man approached her in the dark: “He pulled a dagger, put one hand on my mouth, so that I could not scream. He then raped me and disappeared.”
She kept her pregnancy a secret for as long as possible because she “feared the consequences of being raped in a community where rape is considered a taboo” but when she finally told her mother about her condition, “it was not as I feared. I found my mother understanding and consoling. She urged me not to do anything rash, which might endanger my life.”
She gave birth in the family’s home but was unable to feed the baby: “My baby was on the verge of death. She became malnourished and was even unable to cry. I was desperate and decided to run away, rather than see my child dying.”
Mentwabe’s family were unable to find her and assumed that she had died, so put the baby up for adoption. Mentwabe added: “My mother was not misled by anyone, as was alleged by some media outlets. Her motive was to save the child from dying which I fully understand.”
“I have never disputed the adoption of my baby by Angelina Jolie. I think my daughter is a very fortunate human being to be adopted by a world famous lady. I wish them both all the success they deserve.”

Adopting a child is a wonderful thing. I think it's great that Angelina and Brad are adopting children. Not every child can be born into the "perfect" family or situation. Saying that they are buying kids is just ignorant. They obviously love children and have big hearts. If they adopted white kids, you fuckers would probably say how wonderful they were. Get over your prejudices and be happy for these kids because they will have a life most of us can't even imagine. As for the "mother", I don't know what the truth is, and neither do any of you. The media can make up anything, pay anyone to say whatever they want them to and people will buy into it. Don't believe everything you read. I do think it's in poor taste to run an article like this. Why are you all angry about the fact that they reported a rape? Ignoring rape is why it still happens. The only way we come closer to drastically reducing the statistics is if we acknowledge it rather than treating it as something utterly unmentionable. Yes, it's disgusting, but history proves that problems do not go away when you ignore them. They only continue to get worse because no real solution is offered to help crack down on the problem. Rape punishments are not NEARLY as severe as they need to be. Anywhere in the world, really. Clearly those saying that it's no big deal or that it's scandalous to mention such happenings have never had to experience the pain, the humiliation, and bitterness that errupt from a sexual hate crime. Apparently the arrangement is settled between the mother and Ms. Jolie, for now. The story is only one out of millions of sad stories, and there are many stories that are exponentially worse, in many places in the world. They could all be helped, but usually they are not, and they are not helped just because nobody helps.

Angelina is such a skankwhore, but she definitely did pick out a baby with lips like hers. Except Zahara's (or Zaquisha's, or Zawanee's or whatever that baby's name is) lips are probably real. Why is there an issue with this adoption??? This child has a good home. I wonder why no "there are no other issues" with the other adopted children??? Her two sons are asian and no one seems to care where they or how they came to be adopted. I can only wonder why things with Z seem to be so much interest to people; is it because her skin is a different color???? Who cares what nationality or color these children are? If you have been following this story at all, you will notice the tone goes from…"she lied and stole our baby"…to "we were not misled, Miss Jolie is a 'kind' and 'generous' woman". Does this sound like a payoff to anyone else?? I think someone's publicist made a trip to Africa……

How the hell would Z'm Mom know what was being reported anyway? I think that as good as it is Z has a home AJ shouldn't be allowed to adopt more kids. She has history that would make her unable to in other countries and she just gets Nannies. I know she is rich but she works a lot, doesn't have a stable relationship, isn't the most mentlly stable and has 4 kids already now! Is she going to make sure all those kids know their heritage. I won't take credit away from Jolie for giving Zahara a better life but she is NOT stable - and I'm not even talking mentally. She just needs to settle down if she wants alot of kids. You can't be dragging these babies from an orphanage onto a jet and making them travel non stop. These kids want a home. Plus she won't even make it legal between her and Pitt.
