Like the Beatles, these chaps hail from Liverpool. Unlike the Fab Four, though, To My Boys sweet pop melodies are electrified and grunged up with a sense of urgency that makes them sound very current.

      They are young, they will get better. Not bad even for their age I guess. Like a lot of the comments say, sounds very 80s. I'm not quite sure enough time has gone by to make the 80s cool retro yet. Maybe they will start something.

      "Unlike the Fab Four, though, To My Boys sweet pop melodies are electrified and grunged up", hardly an insult to the Beatles, since you wouldn't really describe them as being electrified and grungy.
      I've seen them live and they are REALLY good, probably one of the bests bands I've seen for a while, so anyone who is slating them just because you think someone is trying to imply they're greater than the Beatles, you need to get your facts straight.

      So many things wrong with this post I don't know where to begin. I guess you mean that the Beatles don't sound current now, but the comment is just so ignorant. Of course they are not current now - the music is 40 years old! If you knew anything about music history you'd know that the Beatles were on the cutting edge of popular recorded music. Along with the Beach Boys, they were one of the first to popularize modern studio recording techniques. I normally don't post serious comments on this site - but you're ignorance on this subject is criminal.

      Plus, these two little boys suck! No one will know who they are, no one will be listening to their music over and over for inspiration, no one will compare future artists to them.

      TMB are fantastic guy and as you said from Liverpool whoch makes them great people (Guess where yours truly is from ;D)
      I thoroughly everybody tries too see these two playing live its a truly enegry packed show.

      I know plenty about the Beatles so don't accuse me of being ignorant, I know they were pioneers, but To My Boy sound nothing like them, and anyone who listened to them would recognize that they're not trying to, so anybody bringing the argument of 'nobody is better than the Beatles, don't even speak about them in the same breath' into it, really doesn't have a valid point.

      i totally love this band - seen them 3 times. Bands that no one have ever heard of are always the best kind because they're not too up themselves to chat to fans afterwards.

      Kinda reminds me of when the Black Crows came onto the Southern Rock scene. They sound alot like the bands that made their genres famous, but unfortunately not as good or original as the founding bands. Kinda catchy though.
