    These kids travel around the world regularly, and get gifts at all times all the time. The point of not giving gifts on Christmas is avoiding buying into the commericalism and possibly focusing on family time. MOST families will never have the luxuries that the Ritchies have. Most families utilize Christmas as a time to justify overpriced toys and luxury gifts because, it is the only time of the year that they can afford a splurge. I think this family decision by the Ritchies should be applauded.
