Dramz went down on Larry King Live Tuesday night!
The plastic surgeon with a shady past, Jan Adams, was walked off the show after explaining that lawyers for Kanye West contacted him and asked the doc not to talk, even if it wasn't related to the rapper's deceased mother, who died hours after being operated by him.
Such a drama queen, he is!
Adams couldn't have just phoned in and cancelled? He had to walk off on air????
As for Kanye, he was in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, where he emotionally laid to rest the body of his dearly departed mother.
West is expected in London on Thursday to resume his European tour.

I'm a nurse and I have worked with a lot of doctors. Sometimes its good for docs to have an ego because you need a lot of confidence in yourself in order to cut someone open. But a doctor that doesn't understand or respet that power as a physician is DANDEROUS! This is a terrible reminder to us all that we should ALWAYS do background checks on our docs! Always find out their track record before letting them cut you open!!!!

This dr deserves to clear his name or at least tell HIS side of the story. Kenya probably does not want the world to her how hard headed and vain his mom was. yeah, another doctor refused to operate on her because of a medical condition as he felt it was too risky.
She probably begged this guy and he reluctantly decided to do it for her and now he's getting blamed for killing her.

But the doctor cannot be destroyed now either. It's too bad that people even have this type of surgery, but it COULD be true that he did nothing wrong in that particular surgery. It doesn't take anything away from the tragedy, but it might have been a string of complications unforseen by ANY surgeon.
regardless: a tragedy. But there's no need to destroy another life until all the facts are known, and currently we only know that yes, he has had malpractice suits in the past, just like any other plastic surgeon. Wait for the facts.

I have suffered under bad judgement from doctors, I almost died and now have a huge scar on my stomach (not plastic surgery related. It was life-saving surgery, almost too late). Still, the doctors can all say "we didn't know any better." Totally different case though… sorry.

Who cares!!!!!! Kanye West's mother did selective surgery even when another doctor told her that her body could not take the procedure. A women in her 50's decided that the fat on her stomach was more important then her life and we're suppose to feel this outrage for him and his family . It tells you the character of him and his family that she placed that much importance on her looks [ especially when it would not have done that much in her over all appearance] . I always thought that he was a loud mouth jerk and him taking only one day off from his concert tour didn't improve my opinion of Kanye West.

He served as chief resident for both his general surgical residency AND his plastics fellowship, and he has many publications and appearances (i.e. Oprah, Discovery Channel). This isn't some shady doctor working w/o a license. Oh yeah, and as a second year medical student, I have already had numerous lectures about how it is inevitable every doctor will face at least one lawsuit in his/her career. Malpractice suits are a part of our culture now.

OK, everyone knows that if you undergo surgery there are always risks. His mother, after being rejected by another doctor due to some mysterious "pre-existing condition", CHOSE on her own accord to seek out another doctor WHO WOULD OPERATE ON HER. I am sorry to say, but if she would have taken the time to examine this guy's credentials fully, not been so vain, and took the advice of the previous doctor NOT to have the surgery…she may still be alive today.

I really hate that this happened to Kanye's mom. We're gonna have to hear about it for years to come and the last thing I need in my life is having to hear Kanye whine anymore. I would never go to him. Black People: Just because he's a brother, doesn't mean he's good!!! Didn't his patients look at any pictures of his work or check for any malpractice suits against him? (That might be hard to do) After seeing these other women on tv showing their scars, they look butchered too! And seeing that made me decide that I would never, ever, go to see him! (Disclaimer: These are suggestions and opinions only after seeing results of the Dr.'s work in the media; don't try to sue my ass, since he may be hard up for income IF all of these alegations are proven true!!!)
