Ahhhh wrong, that is NOT how the war was financed. Germany was in Bankruptcy when he took over and taxing the people was going to be like getting blood from a stone. It was financed by banks in Paris, London and New York. It was financed by those who ALLOWED Hitler to play RULER OF THE WORLD just long enough to rack up a debt that would enslave generations with interest rates that were NEVER MEANT to be paid off ensuring that enslavement would continue.
Dig deeper and look at the financial dealings of Joseph Kennedy, the Rothchilds, Rockefellers, JP Morgan, The World Bank just to name a few.

I'm not questioning her historical accuracy on the the Bush family scandals. The fact is, I don't care. It's entirely irrelevant to the situation now. My problem is with Ms Barr's solutions, which are so stupidly inane, it's amazing. How can anybody possibly justify a 50% tax on corporations? That's taxing the biggest employers in America, limiting their expansion and therefore REDUCING jobs. Or how about forcing anybody with more than $100 mill to fork over their money?
