Hey Cupid is from the same city Lafayette, Louisiana as me!!!! He is huge here and doing well… The cupid shuffle is played in schools for PE, parades… you name it and even the old white folks know how to do it and love it! What the hell is this crap? Man, I'm black, and I know all black people should like any and all types of rap no matter how bad it is (or at least that's what i've been lead to believe) but this is terrible. But, it sounds like a little kid song. Maybe if I were in jr high school I would like it.

His music writing and singing skills has been off the charts for a long time and he's still young! Give this guy a chance and you too will see that he's a shining star! Everyone has their own opinion about different music choices. I'm from the same area Cupid is from and everyone here LOVES him….he's VERY POSITIVE and a real cool person. I've been listening to his music….if you don't like this try searching for some of his old shit….he can really sing…he is versatile…he has endless possibilities…..MAN THE DUDE HAS SKILLS…..YOU'LL NEVA FIND SOMEONE LIKE HIM. He's recently signed to Atlantic Records. It's OK if some of you don't like his music it takes time to start liking music from other places. Just like I don't like some of the stuff from up north right away, I don't expect ya'll to love CUPID right away just know this boy has talent and ya'll better WATCH OUT CUZ HE'S COMING!!! Cupid is a really nice guy who goes out of his way to help others (and he doesn't just do it for the publicity!) He has been around for a while and has some really great club music. Its good to see him starting to be recognized!
