David Beckham was a guest on ITV's This Morning on Monday and he gave a very interesting interview.

Basically, he talked about how U.S. soccer sucks in comparison to playing in the U.K. or Spain, his kids adopting an American accent, Victoria, his famous friends, his love of Disneyland, the Spice Girls reunion and much more.

Alison (interviewer): So we all know you are in L.A at the moment, how is football different out there?

David: I think everyone knows that the level of football is definitely different, it is different to La Liga in Spain and different to the Premiership in Spain but there is a lot of potential out there. I wouldn't want to be going in to something that I didn't see potential, I am honoured to be given a chance to go out there and play out there and be ambassador of the MLS and I am enjoying it, I am enjoying being part of that and the whole experience of it because everyone is so passionate out there. It is like similar to our country with sport, everyone is passionate about sport and it is unfortunate that they are passionate about every other sport out there about from soccer. But since I have been there the interest is there, that is why it has been successful since I arrived, you know we played in New York and normally they get 11,000 fans and we got 68,000 so every stadium that we have played in has sold out, so the interest is in there in the country. And the interesting thing is that the place where we train is called The Carson and it is quite a rough part of L.A and two guys came up to me the other day they were both 6 ft 8 and 6 ft 9 and they came up to me and I thought, 'What are they going to say to me?' and they shook my hand and they said to me, 'Do you know what, we have never been to a soccer match before but we are coming to see you on Saturday.' Do you know what, that is what you want to hear and the reaction you want.

Alison: Do you think you have settled there?

David: Without a doubt you know the most important thing for us was that the kids are settled and the boys have settled, they love their school, they love their way of life, obviously if they wanted to and if we let them they could do something different everyday, there is something different in America that they could do every day.

Alison: What about accents? Have they changed into American kids?

David: Well yeah, to be honest you know Romeo keeps saying awesome a lot, 'awesome, awesome' and there are other things they keep coming out with and it is funny. When we lived in Manchester Brooklyn kept coming out with a Manchester accent and obviously because I'm from London and so is Victoria, I'm a little bit more common than my wife but you know, them hearing my accent they sound as if they are from London and that is how I want them to sound but they are getting little parts of an American accent. But it's like I said, you know it is a great lifestyle out there. They are enjoying it immensely but they are not going to Disneyland every weekend because for me Disneyland is a special thing, it always has been. They will only go once or twice, it is a special treat for them.

Alison: Well you are in the LA 'A-list' now and you've got famous friends, have you been starstruck by anyone?

David: I'm always star struck by someone. If I'm in a coffee shop a Starbucks or Coffee Bean and you know you see someone by you buying a coffee and you're thinking. 'Is that who I think it is?' and you don't want to look and be a fan but you can' t help it. I'm always star struck by famous people.

Alison: Has Tom Cruise made you a cocktail yet?

D: He hasn't yet, he has been working in Berlin but he is back in L.A so I am looking forward to just hanging with him and just having some fun.

Alison: So what are you doing for Christmas?

David: We are going to be back in England, I love London, I love being back in England, I love being back in London, it is where I am from and where Victoria is from and Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without being back here.

Alison: Is it a very busy time for both of you at the moment, especially Victoria?

David: It is, she has been busy. Since we have arrived in America she has been busy but for the last month and a half now they have started rehearsals, since I have been away, she has been dropping the kids off at school and going straight to rehearsals, she'll start rehearsals at 9, have a half hour break and finish and be home at 7. So she is working really, really hard at the moment and that is why, as a group, they have had the success they have had. They are all perfectionists, they all want to put on the best show for the fans and it is definitely going to be an amazing show.

Alison: Are you going to take the boys?

David: Oh without a doubt you know I think that is one of the things that one of the reasons Victoria wanted to do it, she loves being back with the girls and doing something that she hasn't done for quite a few years now but you know the first time around Brooklyn was two years old.

Alison: So he can't remember?

David: He can't remember, I think you know Victoria says, "All our boys know what daddy does, he plays football in front of all these people but they have never seen what mummy used to do" and so that was one of the reasons why she wanted to do it and it will be amazing, all the boys are going to love it, especially Romeo, Romeo is the performer in our family, he is going to be the next Justin Timberlake hopefully. He is going to be the performer.
