Donda West's hairdresser, Charlay Thomas, is betraying her dead friend and making public a voice mail message Kanye's mom left her the day before she died.

Donda's last message said, "How are you? It’s Miss West. How’s everything going…I hope you get this message soon because it’s possible I need something from you, like, immediately! I am going to, um, go have my procedure done tomorrow and I'm getting every single thing from my neck to my knees! So, anyway, call me. I'll tell you about that. I just decided at the last minute that it would be nice if my hair were corn-rowed [before the surgery]."

Thomas is also speaking out to Inside Edition.

In an exclusive interview, the hairdresser says: "If I had only picked up the phone."

Charlay didn't get the message until the next day, when Donda was already in operation.

Thomas says West had been considering having surgery since June and that she assisted West in her search for a doctor.

“I only visited one, but I know she shopped around,” says Charlay.

Thomas also tells Inside Edition that Kanye did not want his mother to have the surgery.

“She [Donda] said that Kanye did not want her to get it done. I think that Kanye was aware [of the surgery], but again like none of us, he did not know who this man is, who he was.”

      My condolences to kanye and his family but his mother had no class or common sense. her doctors clearly told her that she could not have any cosmetic or plastic surgery due to her health conditions but she went ahead and tried to have them done anyway. now, kanye does not have a mother nor a father and i am so for him. sorry that his mother was vain had no common sense and no class. but then who says education buys these qualities in a person? she was probably in a hurry to have a nose job and skin bleach. its just terrible!

If she was shopping around with her for a surgeon I am sure she would have not talked her out of it! Her statement sounds so fake. A friend would not have made the tape public.
