Awesome!!!!

Pee-wee's Playhouse: The Movie is described as "An epic adventure, the characters get out of the playhouse."

The film is expected to be released in 2009.

Can't wait!

god bless this poor man, thank goodness he has still been able to work, his kiddie show career was ruined in the late 80s just because he was wanking off in a porno theater, not soliciting sex, or doing drugs, or anything else. i remember after this happened they pulled the pee wee herman dolls off the shelves, it was ridiculous, and they cancelled pee wees playhouse.just imagine how he must have felt back then…..

Paul Reubens is hands down one of the the best and most talented actors we have out there. I adore his skills! He has entertained me for most of my life from Pee Wee to Nice Dreams ("Hamburger….arrrrrr"), to his role in Blow that he was great at! The stigma of the past needs to be done with because we are truly being deprived a great entertainer by a lack of Paul Reubens. I wish we could see more of him! He's one of my favorites!

OMG!!! This is great news!!! I used to LOVE Pee-Wee's Playhouse back in the day, and I even own his "Big Adventure" movie on dvd! (lol- the one where he searches for his stolen bike) I am very excited that he is returning! People need to seriously GET OVER his past indescretions, ok? The man got caught wacking off to an ADULT porn movie, which was probably pretty embarrassing, but nothing that should have warranted his name being dragged through the mud 15 f-ing years later people! He didn't hurt anybody, and should have never lost his job. His show was the best! Go Pee-Wee! Your fans still love you!!!

dude, to all you haters, Paul Ruebens is a terrific actor. read this from IMDB, and then think to yourself if you are going to an X rated movie don't most people do what he did. So don't hate, he's a great actor: '91. Reubens was visiting his parents and sought escape from boredom by catching a showing of the X-rated film. He fell victim to a police sting operation and was arrested for sex charges when detectives allegedly saw him playing with his private parts. He was released on $219 bail and nobody realized what had happened until somebody recognized him beneath his long hair and goatee. CBS dropped the Playhouse He agreed to pay a $50 fine plus $85 in court costs and he produced a 30 second public service message the county sealed all legal papers relating to the actor's arrest and didn't leave Reubens with a criminal record. Reubens appeared as his favorite character for the last time at that Autumn's MTV Music Video Awards. He bounded onto the stage before a standing ovation and asked, "Heard any good jokes lately?" in reference to being the butt of many current punchlines. "What was that one? Oh, so funny I forgot to laugh!" he had received 15 thousand supportive letters during his arrest.
