The Jacksons To Reunite

Michael Jackson is set to rejoin the Jackson Five for a world tour next year, according to his brother Jermaine.

And, there is even talk of sister Janet joining the boys on the road for their trek in '08!

While in the U.K. these past few days, Jermaine has told reporters: "We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public."

Asked whether Michael would be involved, Jermaine told BBC 6Music: "He has to be, he is a Jackson. He was at the meetings. Michael will be involved."

This was inevitable.

Michael needs money. Badly!

Saw them in Vegas a looooong time (before anybody had plastic surgery) ago. It wasn't like a Prince concert but paying no more than $125 per ticket for a once in a while event like this is justified.

Don't know if you'd wanna have a hi-def screen in the background, though. Between age and plastic surgery, that might be a little rough on human eyes.

World tour? Only the Rolling Stones could pull that off (and they don't lipsinc like the Spice Wimmen either).

Um, speaking as one of the public and a former fan, no thanks. What the hell would they perform anyway? Nobody wants to see a bunch of old-ass men singing ABC. With the exception of "Dangerous" and Janet's albums, none of them has come out with anything that I'd pay to listen to since The Victory Tour, and that was 23 years ago. Plus the idea of seeing either Michael's or Jermaine's faces on a hi-def stadium screen is making me throw up in my mouth AND shit myself a little bit.

I am a huge Michael Jackson fan and I love him more than anything in the world, he is the most perfect musician and human being in the world. HOWEVER this sounds WAY too old school for me and I don't really believe or buy this story anymore.
