Is The Hogan Divorce A Distraction???

mx0045026__opt1.jpg

Lawyer's for the family of the victim in the Nick Hogan car crash think that the Hulkster's divorce from wife of nearly 25 years, Linda, is merely a ruse.

Kimberley Kohn, a Tampa attorney who represents Ed Graziano, the father of injured passenger John Graziano, is doubting the Hogan divorce.

She claims that Hulk and Linda are splitting in a move to protect their assets.

The Graziano family is planning to sue the Hogans and if they are divorced, they would have to go after each one individually, making it much more difficult.

John Graziano has been hospitalized since the August accident and is pretty much brain dead. His family wants the Hogans to pay for his medical care for life. And they should!

Why should Nick's parents pay for this? Why should they get sued?? They didn't do it. Nick should be put in jail and that is it. The government should pay the hospital bills.

Ever had a family crisis regardless of wealth? It tears a family apart and I'm guessing that mama and daddy knew about his wreckless behavior. The stress of this crisis has bee the final blow that led to divorce. Divorce did not come out of the blue, it's been in the works. Hulk is blaming Linda for being a bad mother, Linda is blaming Hulk for being a bad dad. Yada yada yada. By the way, #61 is right on!! Seatbelts people, wear your seatbelt, you can not force a 22 year old to put one on. Very tragic. By the way, I've never seen so many idiots on this blog who can not spell. Yowser, please brush up on 3rd grade spelling and grammer.

That's the first thing I thought when I read about this! It has to be a distraction! They want people to think they're going thru a hard time and distract us from what a fucked up think their son did! And the money will be harder for the family to get. Shady shady.. pay for what you did-you raised a fucked up spoiled brat!

The Florida State Police should be forced to pay for the kids medical care. Wasn't Nick pulled over like 3 times in one day for going over 100mph? If the police wouldn't have been so *~dazzled~* by his fancy car his license would have been revoked for reckless driving and he wouldn't have been driving!!!!

I doubt this is a ruse to divert attention from the impending lawsuit and to divert assets.

The Hogans did talk about divorce on their show in the past, and also attended couples counseling. When a couple attends counseling its usually the last hope to save a relationship.

To top it off, I'm sure this accident has not been easy for the Hogan family. They are living with the guilt that their son put a young man in the hospital for the rest of his life. They are struggling with the consequences, and anyone who is involved in such stress and turmoil would certainly experience a huge strain on their already weakened relationship.

Shame on the attorneys of the Graziano family for making this such an ugly event.

and IMHO, I think Nick should be held criminally responsible, as well as financially responsible. Wreckless driving and driving while intoxicated are SERIOUS offenses, and *but for* the actions of Nick, John Graziano would not be in the state that he is - seatbelt or no seatbelt. Nick should be held at least partially financially responsible for his medical care.

I have a feeling this will be settled out of court! We Will see!

While Nick Hogan should be held responsible for this whole deal, if his friend that was with him is brain dead like Perez says he is, he should be taken off life support and anything else that is artificially keeping him alive. What's the point in keeping a vegetable alive? It's more like torture, in my opinion.

      222

Nick's friend wasn't wearing his seatbelt? That's his own damn fault. Yes, Nick shouldn't have been driving like an ass, but what are two teenage boys going to do when one gets behind a wheel of a fast sports car? Common sense. It's no more Nick's fault than his friend's. Plus, it being Nick's friend… don't you think he feels bad enough the accident left him brain dead… (cough cough, do I hear that excuse coming up in court)? And if it's permanent brain damage, take him off life support.

I'm not a lawyer, but wouldn't the Graziano's have to sue NICK Hogan, and not his parents? Nick is an adult, and HE was driving when the accident took place. Why would his parents (or their assets) be held responsible for Nick's actions? I think that any court would throw that case out. It would be like that Paparazzo suing Britney's Mom for Britney running over his foot… doesn't make sense.

True the passenger may not have been wearing a seatbelt. But as it is the driver's responsibility to keep his car under control, it is also his responsibility to make sure those riding in his car are wearing seatbelts. I'm pretty sure if they'd been pulled over this awful accident, Nick would have recieved the ticket for operating his car without his friend belted in.

I don't even know how true this story is. In the 1st place The Hogan's including Nick were spending a lot of time at the hospital. The family of the boy that was with Nick said that their son knew what was going on because his best friend was the one racing with Nick. They also said that they appreciated all the care that the Hogan family were giving. Hulk Hogan said that his family would take care of all the expenses. They do have INSURANCE. It WASN'T NICK'S CAR IT WAS HULK'S CAR. Nick wasn't drunk. If Nick is in trouble so should the other driver be. The family is not unfeeling monsters. I think people need to let them handle this.

      274

True, this is very sad however, John was 5 years older than Nick why would he be handing out with someone that young? Also, John had to know that Nick had been drinking, why wouldn't he buckle up. That's not Nick's fault. Also, I'm sure it wasn't just Nick's idea to do the racing, John could have gotten out of the car at any time. Drinking, racing and still didn't put a seat belt on, NOT NICK'S FAULT!!! Everyone, remember Nick is only 17 years old. He's learned a horrible lesson the hard way and will live with that the rest of his life. I don't think he's getting off scott free.

I think they are missing the point that the "man" is 22 & WAS NOT wearing a seat belt!! His head would not have hit anything if he had been STRAPPED to the seat. Does Florida have seat belt laws?
WHY would a 22 year old get into a super-charged car with a SEVENTEEN year old??? Doesn't the insurance have to cover medical for the injured man? This whole thing is SO TRAGIC and none of it will help that poor young man in the hospital!
