Screw Christmas cheer! We much prefer a sweet and melancholy holiday song to the bright and faux-cheery pervasiveness of Christmas songs.

Cuz, let's face it, the holidays are oftentimes quite depressing!

One of our all-time favorites, the incredibly talented Meiko, has come out with her own take on a Christmas song, simply titled X-Mas Song.

    Meiko is definitely one of the most talented new artists to emerge this year. I've seen her perform numerous times and she gets better each time. She KILLS Colbie Caillat live…her lyrics are more compelling and her songs are more timeless than Feist's, and she's got a better personality and stage-presence than just about any other 'new artist' with a bigtime major record deal. This girl is the real deal people.
