One Step Closer To The Academy Award

mx0070513__opt.jpg

Miz Angelina Jolie has previously been honored by her peers and awarded the prestigious Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her feisty role in the film Girl, Interrupted.

Now, the thespian and humanitarian seems likely to take home another Academy Award.

Jolie has just been nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress, a good Oscar precursor.

Ange is being honored for her role in the Brad Pitt-produced A Mighty Heart. She played the wife of slain journalist Daniel Pearl in the biopic.

The movie also scored a nod for Best Film.

Congrats to both Angie and Bradley!

An "Independent Spirit Award"?? Are you serious Perez?

TRUST - its one step closer to the razzies, NOT an Oscar. She is a joke in Hollywood. A joke! Mark my words fat boy - it'll NEVER happen!

    42. hotel283 says – reply to this

      42

"Girl, Interrupted" sucked - it was nothing like the book which also sucked. Angelina Jolie is a joke of a travesty of an actress - her big ol' tits and willingness to fuck a snake if you held it have made her what she is.

It's a shame what happened to Daniel Pearl but it is a thinly known secret that he was an operative for the CIA (not an agent, an operative - a person, sometimes an unwitting one, who is employed by the CIA to provide info, go places their spooks can't etc.) he was killed by shrewd soldiers who saw him as a threat NOT by a squad of Islamic zealots who want to rain firey death on the US (as the US govt would like you to believe) - her mundane performance was (fortunately) lost in the propaganda of that film.

Angelina Jolie: EW’s Entertainer of the Year

“Angelina Jolie is currently fulfilling fanboy fantasies in Beowulf with her role as Grendel’s mom. Grendel’s naked mom. In digital 3-D, no less. But energizing her base is hardly the 32-year-old actress’ only accomplishment this year. In A Mighty Heart, Jolie strapped on a prosthetic pregnancy belly, donned a curly wig, and delivered the sort of heart-wrenching turn that reminded audiences why she won that Academy Award (for 1999’s Girl, Interrupted) in the first place. In other words, she acted.”

YOU PEOPLE ARE MORONS!! Firstly, to the dickhead who compared here to Paris Hilton, Paris Hilton is nothing but a waste of skin and bone, she has no talent whatsoever, unless looking like a waxwork is a talent.

Angelina's mother was French so I doubt very much that she did a bad French accent.

She wasn't married when she met Brad so she was not the adulterer, he was.

Why does everyone want her lips though? They always look horrible and lumpy.

There nothing classy and moral about Jennifer Maniston. She talked about how being f**kable is the way to make it in Hollywood. Well Maniston, if you have talent and looks like the gorgeous Angie, you don't have to be f**kable to make it in Hollywood, you make it on your talent.

Hope she and Brad are saving up enough money for shrinks and Rehabs for the kids. They get dragged around the world while mommy and daddy go from project to project to project. They should have the children made into little Oscar like statues that sit on their mantle. They would still impress stupid people but it wouldn't hurt any kids. Angelina, collecting children won't fix that empty place inside you.
