One Step Closer To The Academy Award

Miz Angelina Jolie has previously been honored by her peers and awarded the prestigious Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her feisty role in the film Girl, Interrupted.

Now, the thespian and humanitarian seems likely to take home another Academy Award.

Jolie has just been nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress, a good Oscar precursor.

Ange is being honored for her role in the Brad Pitt-produced A Mighty Heart. She played the wife of slain journalist Daniel Pearl in the biopic.

The movie also scored a nod for Best Film.

Congrats to both Angie and Bradley!

No matter what she does to "aide" humanity, the women is still a home-recker. I find it very coincidental that after the whole Brad-Angelina-Jennifer issue went public, she turns to helping the worlds most destiute countries, like that is supposed to change people's view of her. I think she has some major demons that she is trying to cover up.

Re: Lane – Absolutely. This is a farce! Marion Cotillard's performance was beyond compare
