Man, she could get caught selling crack to starving ethiopan children and I'd still like her.

Lilo, take notes. Seriously she is one example that being famous is not an excuse to be a fuck up. She truly is sensational. Definitely the next Angelina, but she's already got a squeaky clean record so she'll probably end up looking like a bone-able Mother Theresa.

    30. Smuggy McSmug Pants says – reply to this

      30

She went to Harvard…great…actressed always get into the Ivy league schools…Julia Stiles did and the Olsens did, too…They wrote personal statements about being celebrities (no kidding…they said so in an old interview)… It's NOT FAIR, AT ALL…when the admissions processes are just cheesy excuses for weeding people out at random… It's unfair that schools tend toward these celebrities and offer them educations they'll likely not use, while the rest of us are rejected…

I applaud her for being a smart dame, but I don't understand these people who claim to be so pro this and that and then support organizations in stark opposition to their causes. For example, she's a vegan, right? Well, she wears the Olsens' line…they wear more fur than a rabbit…

Also, Hayden baby fat Panetiere is all crying over the whales and trotting around Hollywood in leather…???? Ummmmm, how about instead of going to other countries to save dolphins, you stop stalking your thickness into Kitson and buying animal skins?? It's really simple to do good, Hayden…I promise…you hippo…I mean, hypocrit :-)

      37

What she meant was that she became an actress because she watched the back up dancers on stage and so loved said back up dancers that it made her want to be backed up by similar dancing type folks. That's what I got from this. Perez, you fit the back-up dancer bill for real. I think she was winking at all of the under the surface infrastructure that supports the 'ACTOR/ACTRESS'. Howlieewood, ya gotta love it.

It sucks that so many people write shit about an intellectual, witty girl. Jealousy is wrong guys. Just embrace her. She is amazing. Perez knows it, I know it, you should too. And HawtPink Natalie Portman is the ONLY girl I would go lesbian for.

I like her.. .The fact that she sends this very important message : being smart and educated is as important if not more than being beautiful. She never falls for that whole hollywood-hypersexualisation stuff. Yet, she IS charming. Very.
Just gotta love a girl that is all that. She feels authentic and that's so important.

I recently watched a documentary she did (with others) on Gorillas and I think it's great she is involved with such a great cause. Way to go Natalie!!!

She needs to stop saying "like" so much. Oh and try to make eye contact more, Natalie. It's the polite thing to do when speaking to someone.

    65. Why do celebs get free rides? says – reply to this

      65

I agree with the person who said these celebrities get free rides: having been tutored by lames and ushered onto movie sets, they've surely not met any of the requirements, at least not in the way an ordinary applicant would and yet these celebrities are always accepted into schools that most scholars can only dream about. It's a lame thing, it's an unfair classist thing. The fact that they're granting admission to people based on popularity is lowly and vile, not unlike this blog (ahahahahahhaa). In fact, rapper Lil Wayne was even granted admission into a university in Texas with a strict(er) admissions policy. It's a given, the rich and famous have their way: they get out of jail and into the big leagues, even when they've likely not risen above the basest levels of education.

      66

She's a great influence on our generation. Good to know she puts her celeb status to good use, BUT…an ex-coworker of mine knew a friend of a friend and that friend of a friend said she used to do major _ _ _ _ back in the day! :-x

    67. Another Ivy Leaguer says – reply to this

      67

So she's saying "like". She's still just a 26 year old having a conversation. These obviously aren't very in-depth questions: what's your happiest time? What movie did you first watch in your life? That warrants an "um" in my opinion.

And NYU isn't an Ivy League school, Smuggy McSmugPants. Why don't you try looking it up before commenting or even applying to said universities?

    68. karen says – reply to this

      68

What a beautiful and down to earth woman! I love the edginess of some of her roles and think she's a fantastic actress. She feels like someone I'd like to get to know better. I bet she has good friends and a loving and supportive family. Love her!

    69. tellie says – reply to this

      69

Re: Kez – er…cos she's 26. I'm 25 and my forehead doesn't crease hardly at all when i raise my eyebrows.
and i think she is smart but saying she went to harvard is irrelevant. just because you're academically smart doesn't mean you're emotionally intelligent or insightful. she however appears to be those things. and the person who said that 'like' is just an unconscious delay tactic of the brain is totally right. it's just like saying 'eh…'. stop picking on stupid little things to bitch about. she's a hell of a lot more interesting than lindsay or paris or those vacant tramps

      Re: Another Ivy Leaguer
Ummmm elitist, much? I didn't remember they'd gone to NYU. Okay? Lame. Go kill yourself!

    71. Who cares? says – reply to this

      71

Who cares about schools and higher education? Really. In the past, you didn't even have to go to law school to be an attorney. Now, you do. Why's that? Because the legal profession wants to make it "difficult" to become an attorney, only to manipulate supply and demand. It's the same for these "Ivy League" schools…kids come out of those and aren't necessarily any better prepared for a real lifecourse than a kid out of some bottom-rung university or community college. It's all about money. You get the brand, you offer said brand to whatever organization you're hoping to join and people give you the $$$$. But how great is that, when everyone knows you'll bounce around to several careers in a lifetime… You will neither be stable nor wholly fulfilled in a career. So, go to Harvard or to Mary Kay school of cosmetics…In the end, you're likely to be the same displaced and disgruntled organization man.

I'm actually not the one being elitist. You're hating on tens of thousands of students from all walks of life just because they happen to attend eight highly rated universities. Think about it. Not everyone who goes to these schools is a celebrity or even from a high-income family.

      76

      Re: Another Ivy Leaguer
Okay, you're not only elitist but also deluded. I called YOU an elitist, ONE PERSON who seemed to take pride in pointing out that NYU is not an Ivy League university. Your statement was made with that stodgy air of superiority…I was responding to YOU, to YOUR STATEMENT, which was IN NO WAY and indictment of "tens of thousands of students from all walks of life." I clearly stated, initially, that it was unfair that kids who DREAM OF GOING TO THESE INSTITUTIONS are rejected, while CELEBRITIES ARE ADMITTED FOR CELEBRITY'S SAKE. Does that seem, in any way, an insult TO "the tens of thousand of students from all walks of life" WHO DESERVE TO GO TO IVY LEAGUE SCHOOLS? Of course it doesn't.
You just showed how TRULY ELITIST YOU ARE, by condensing any entire writhing body into your ONE PEREZHILTON.COM POSTING ASS!!!!!!!!

    78. Another Ivy Leaguer says – reply to this

      78

      Re: Smuggy McSmugPants

I'd like to point out that I was not the only one who commented on your thinking NYU was an Ivy League institution. Go look at #40. You just replied to me because of my user name, with already preconceived notions of who I am. I could have called myself "YO FUCKTARD" and you wouldn't have replied.

I am not even the only one who claimed Ivy League rank, as another Harvard grad commented. I simply was defending Natalie Portman, who I think deserved to go to Harvard as she scored in the top percentile in both tests and grades and can speak several languages, from people who were trashing her conversation style.

Another question I can pose to you is this: what if in fact I am actually not a student at an Ivy League school? I could just be saying absolute bullshit to you to pick a fight because you're posting about the Olsen twins on a GOSSIP site forgetting that they went to NYU. What do your comments about elitism and delusion then say?

    79. Smuggy McSmugPants says – reply to this

      79

      Re: Another Ivy Leaguer
I WILL NOT WADE THROUGH YOUR MINUTIA! I DID NOT, I CLEARLY DID NOT INSULT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, AS MY ISSUE FROM THE BEGINNING WAS THAT CELEBRITIES ENJOY, UNDESERVEDLY, THE PRIVILEGE OF AN IVY LEAGUE EDUCATION.
      YOU ARE WRONG! OKAY? WRONG!

    80. Lucy says – reply to this
