A lot of titles distributed in Canada by Sony/BMG have those stickers on them, and it's a promotion they've done many times before, usually in time for prime Christmas shopping. Not that I'm defending Britney, just stating a fact for those who think this has never been done before.

I agree that Britney is as pathetic as ever - but in Canada the movie ticket promotion is one that Sony/BMG has done before - in 2003 (i think) it was for a bunch of different artists, Pink Christina Aaron Carter (maybe even Britney's back then - can't remember) - worked in a record store then - the stickers were different - more hologramy, but the same promotion nonetheless, and i don't think related to her paltry sales…although i'm sure it can't hurt!

It's sad people aren't giving this album a chance. These are some of the best dance songs of her career. I'm not sure I'd say this album totally bombed though since the downloads of her singles seem to be doing quite well. Now Jennifer Lopez's latest CD is definitely a flop in comparison. Britney's album has sold well compared to that failure.

The album has topped most of those charts and Gimme More is still riding high. You just need to go clubbing anywhere around Europe and you'll hear the song. So don't be ignorant.

There has been allot of great albums this year but Blackout has to be the suprisingly good album of 2007. Her album is both sexy and a vital album. It is innovative and blurs the boundaries between synth-pop, R&B, electro and hip-hop with edgy beats and great lyrics. The album is such a great guilty pleasure from start to finish.
