It seems as if her upper register has been destroyed. People kill me with this "It sounds Good" and "Considering what she's been through" or my favorite cop out and excuse "She hasn't performed in this long". Get out of here with that. No matter what people go through, they don't forget what they do best. Whitney didn't "forget" how to sing. The fact is is that she has done some considerable damage to her voice. She can't hit notes that she used to do. Whitney used to slaughter notes like that (In a good way). It was completely effortless for her. That is no longer the case and a voice just doesn't imrove over time when it has sustained damage like that. The power and range have taken a hit. She will never be the same and that's what is so sad. Glad she's doing better, but that wasn't good for "Whitney's" standard. Before, she owned every note.
I thought she was good for a comeback, at least she was shinning. She has a beautiful voice evn if she wasn't giving it her all. GO GIRL!!!
