You have no idea what your talking about….New Orleans is a lot safer than it was pre Katrina….and that is in part due to the loss of the 9th Ward and its inhabitants….Brad Pitt has no fucking clue what the 9th ward was like if he did he would not be trying to rebuild it for the no working, crack headed, unappreciative, should I call them "African Americans"? that lived there. Anyone that lives in a city full of "Katrina Refugees" knows what Im talking about.

It's nice to see Brad Pitt putting so much effort into restoring New Orleans. HOWEVER - - - It's a town where the citizens all have their hands out, as they have for generations, waiting for THE SYSTEM to take care of them instead of trying to help themselves. AND the homes BRAD PITT has worked to help design are for his OWN benefit - he has a personal interest in architecture and made the homes to look very modern and "new-age". If he really CARED about these people, wouldnt' he have made something they could feel comfortable in? Maybe some styles of home they are USED to instead of BRAD PITT's interpretation of how they should live?

BTW did you know N.O. Mayor Nagin didn't even vote in the last 4 elections in New Orleans and he was in Jaimaca during the N.O. Budget hearings last week. Keep your money give it to Mississippi!

this is my home- its the home of alot of people- alot of nice, good, hardworking people… people who want those with their hand out to put it down… so to make a compromise, if you haven't got your shit together since the storm or at least tried, without relying totally on a handout, you should leave because you never really tried…

Brad is trying to do something good but is misguided with this 9th Ward effort. Given all the crime and drugs that came out of the 9th Ward, it is difficult to want to see the area rebuilt. Further, the flooding will happen again someday wiping out Mr. Pitts's 9th Ward eco-village.
Put the money in New Orleans but in an area that serves the survival of that special city.
