Kudos to them!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are using their celebrity for good, and that's always a wonderful thing.

The parents-to-be launched their new Children's Foundation on Monday afternoon. They held a press conference at the Los Angeles Free Clinic in Hollywood.

Nicole and Joel donated 100 Mom-to-Be kits to the Los Angeles Free Clinic.

Hopefully they will continue to be active in their philanthropy!

Her biological father and her aunt, Shelia Escovedo aka Sheila E toured with Lionel Richie. She was raised by Peter until she was 2 and that was when she was adopted by Lionel and Brenda. If you are going to make a big issue of her ethnicity please get your facts straight. There is a reason why she identifies herself as African American. P.S. Being of Aztec descent myself, Mexican is really comprised of three ethnicities Native American, Caucasian AND African American. Please learn your history before making inaccurate statements.
