Kylie Minogue sold out all eight of her UK shows in less than two hours, prompting the promoters to immediately add another seven UK shows to her schedule.

Tickets went on sale at 9am this morning (Monday December 3) for the eight initial shows and by 10am the promoters had added the extra shows to cope with the demand.

Additionally, Kylie's new album, X, has debuted at #1 in Australia and #4 in the U.K. during its first week on sale.

Leona Lewis remains the queen of the U.K. charts, though. Her debut album, the fastest-selling in British history, is #1 for the third straight week. She's untouchable!

In other Kylie News, Miz Minogue has agreed to perform at the Brit Awards in February, which will be hosted by Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne.

Perez went to the Brits last year and we'll definitely have to go again!!

      Kylie has gone Platinum in Australia in the first week of album sales. Good for her! In the UK she has shifted 85k copies of "X" in her first week. That's more than what it took Shitney to sell in a month. Also, given that it's Christmas, #4 is an excellent new entry position for her as the charts are exceptionally competative during Christmas. Additionally, #4 is a very good and respectable entry in the UK album charts. She's charted Top 40 with "X" in all other European territories so far. Given some time she will sell more and move up the album charts in those countries too. Go Kylie!

      Re: dom – Yeah, Britney's album debuted at #2 while Kylie 'only' debuted at #4 but Kylie's album actually sold almost twice as many copies to reach #4. As we get closer to Xmas, CD sales rise big-time. If X was released a few weeks ago, it would have made #1 with the sales it's had.

      The ONLY reason they sold out is massive block buying which have all ended up on e-Bay.It is a PR stunt she pulls to add extra dates.And X has been panned in UK reviews to the extent it is appearing on several newspapers.music mags…DUD of the year 2007 Albums at number 4 of the top 10 duds. !!! X sold a piss 83K week one..Leona sold 380K day one of album( not single ) Kylie also got beaten by one has been come back boy band and 2 X Factor reality shows winners. The backlash of her endless hype has begun..hooray.She is a bitch who sells herself not her music which is utter crap noise.All this hype is ONLY because she, like millions of others had cancer.
