      If the only thing you could get for a traffic violation was jail or prison, all of the dirtbags out there would gain respect for the law and those who enforce it. Paying a token fine like $250 for speeding ten miles over the limit is pure, unadulerated BS. Ten days for each mile over would be a starter. For DUI, start with a year and lifetime supervised probation with revocation for a start.

      I have been a fan since the beginning of STP and through VR, but enough is bloody enough. I have felt sorry for your addictions, as I felt they were stifling the talent of a person I considered better than Cobain. I have hoped with each arrest and rehab that you will stay on the straight and narrow path and get healthy, both physically and mentally. I have had faith that you would come back better than ever each and every time. But you know what? Like any drug addict's family member, I have to wash my hands of you. I just can't take it anymore.
