LC's body is bangin'!

Lauren Conrad graces the cover of the new issue of Shape.

The Hills star claims to have gotten buff by twice-a-week weight training, running and kickboxing, plus healthy eating.

"I used to love fast food," she says. "Now I eat six small meals a day consisting mostly of fish, beans, and other protein, along with veggies."

The fact that LC doesn't have a real job and can spend all the time she wants working out, definitely helps!

I'm sure the thousands spent in makeup and photoshopping don't count either.

Not sure, I go out and all that, but I've seen plenty of good looking women that are much better physically than her. Mentally too, they work daily just like the rest of us but don't need beans and "kickboxing" to be hot.

I often wonder what the kickboxing entails, is it the real deal where you beat the crap out of you opponent, or is it that fake Hollywood crap where you punch at the air and make believe that you're the shit?

I'll guess the latter.

Not that she doesn't look nice regularly but this picture is VERY photoshopped. In both pictures you can tell by the dark shadow/outline around the inside and outside of her thighs - perfectly symetric shadowing is pretty much impossible during an outdoor shoot. Also, in the second picture you can see where they have added shadowing to her hips and contoured her waist. Even if they hadn't touched her body (which they definitely did) the photo would have to be processed in photoshop anyway due to the sun in the background - a large source of light in the background like that makes the subject very dark - even when attempting to counteract it with lighting coming from the front of the subject. Bottom line they made a normal sized and lovely looking girl look unrealistically thin with a staple of the trade - photoshop

Yeah, bones poking through your skin is just so appealing, and what the hell kind of set have they got her on? Those shots are in studio lighting. Looks like they've got her standing in a shallow pool with a painted backdrop. Oh, and need I add: Photoshop?
