He's still in character!

Heroes star Zachary Quinto was recently cast as a young Spock in a new feature adaptation of the Star Trek franchise.

And it seems like he's having a hard time getting out of character!

The fagulous actor was looking very Vulcan at the NYC premiere of Sweeney Todd on Monday.

He does love dem musicals!

He is gay. I went to school with him through 9th grade and did theatre with him in Pittsburgh when we were little for the Civic Light Opera. I also kept in touch with him when he attended CMU and he was always out. Even doing local theatre in sixth grade, he was loud and proud about being gay. P.S. He's also had some work done since those days. If you can get your hands on his senior picture from Shady Side Academy… he surely got snipped.

I met him recently in Los Angeles. First off, if he had work done, it is not obvious, so I am not sure if I believe it. Second, he was truly one of the nicest and most real people that I met as far as celebrities go. He is a great character actor without pretense in my opinion.

I too grew up with Zach (used to just be Zach, now all of a sudden Zachary) and performed in a number of productions with him in Pittsburgh. I will not say that I was close friends with him because no one was in those days. I have to say, not a lot of people from Pittsburgh who knew him are jumping for joy over his success. Mainly because he was always an asshole. He would always belittle anyone who didn't get a part or whom he thought was less talented. And he would do anything he could to get a part or get ahead at anyone's expense. So maybe he's had a big piece of humble pie since those days, he needed it. And yes, he was gay then and even dated a guy I know for a while in college. And yes, I agree that he looks as though his nose got the Hollywood treatment.
