Lily Allen has begun working on the follow-up to her debut album, but this time the Brit singer is doing things a little bit differently.

Allen is ditching DJ/producer Mark Ronson, who helped her on the first record.

"Lily has been working on her new album, but I’m probably not going to be on it as she hasn’t been returning any of my calls," Mark says. "Most of the people I work with, I’m lucky enough to be friends with too. But then you never really know what’s going to happen after."

Sources tell PerezHilton.com Allen is upset with Ronson because he "tried to take too much credit" for the success of her first album.

Lily is reteaming with Greg Kurstin, one of Alright, Still's main collaborators.

Let's just hope Allen doesn't work with her new boyfriend on the record. That's always disastrous!

      I like Greg Kurstin, he's half of The Bird and the Bee and they're great and he's also been working with Dead Disco, a British band that I think you'd like Perez. But I think ditching Ronson is a mistake. Look what he did for Amy Winehouse.

      mark ronson is a great producer and a really nice, down to earth guy. if it's true that she thinks he took too much credit, that's ridiculous. however, choosing a different producer may just be an artistic decision. different producers have different sounds. but anyways, mark deserves all the credit he received. producers don't get enough of that.

      if you look on the album sleeeve , mark ronson did 1 song on her album " littlest things" . He has been touted as the man behind Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen , for 1 song on an album , I kinda see her point .

      What kind of comment is 'she only had one song' er..i think you find you need more than one song to make an album!
      Every song on her album was great..'Not Big', 'Friday Night', ' Shame for you' and 'Take What you take' to name a few!

      Before you start slagging her off, why not listen to her album and then maybe you'll have some idea of what your talking shit about.
